«We were there on Thanksgiving. This was a really cozy place! It’s full of history and atmospheric details. A little bit cold in the bathroom but overall enough heating in other rooms. The house is located somewhere at the height level of 4000 feet, so be prepared to drive uphills about 40-60 minutes. Sequoia National Park is 30 minutes if driving and the way is very winding»

«Great setting in the woods. Excellent communication. Lots of wildlife! A family of deer and turkeys. Composting toilet was clean and worked perfectly. I really liked that the seat was heated which was nice and warm. Look forward to staying again! »

«Check in was a bit disconcerting. The air conditioning was not on in the room (102 degrees outside) and despite trouble shooting with Guest Equity on the phone could not get it operational. Fortunately room 6 was open and hallelujah the air was working! Bed was comfortable and supplies under the sink helpful (soap, sunscreen, aloe, extra garbage bags, etc. Although I scanned the website more than once, did not see the no potable water. I read a review about it so we had plenty of water!  ...
