«…imagine if you pulled up to the front desk at 10:00 at night and were told that they had given away your room and had not contacted anyone! I had made the reservation on the previous Monday for a Friday-Sunday time frame. AND with no assistance other than the clerk pointing in a direction and saying there are hotels that way…»

«No elevator!!!»

«Worked for our quick half stop trip down south for 8 howeverthe place was not clean and one of the rooms had mold and stains on the ceiling. Unusable and disgusting room. Dust was still all over the dressers and fridge was something I wouldn't put any food. Found a cleaning rag in the bed and the floor in the master bedroom was warping with water damage. There was also a musty smell in the entire place. In the end you get what you pay for.»

«It was a historic hotel that was refurbished beautifully. The bathrooms were updated. The beds were comfortable. It was a big room tall ceilings. It was absolutely amazing and absolutely amazing experience. The town of Elkins in itself is amazing. Very historical. Lots of good food. There was amazing food in the hotel itself and a beautiful breakfast display. The staff was very excited to be working there. We checked in at night and she was very polite and kind and helpful. Highly recommend it ...
