«Check-in was easy, the caretaker was right there to hand over the key, and gave us a brief history of the plantation, which has been around since the 1820s! The air conditioning worked very well and that's a blessing since we visited in August. Husband and I explored and walked the property more than once, trying to imagine it in its different eras. My only issue was the breakfast sandwich in the freezer, which was a solid block of ice. Maybe, put the sandwiches in the freezer the day before ...

«Peaceful and quiet easy to find. Great views of Mississippi.. Lovely pool and lots of outdoor spaces to relax. Good room slept well nice compact bathroom. Didnt meet host. Average breakfast at Monmouth.which is a lovely stately home. Dont have the french toast basically fried bread with what didnt look like cream cheese in between and dusted with powdered sugar no fruit as you would usually have - wasnt good!»

«A precious gem! If you love historical places and want to know what true southern hospitality means, this is the place to go. The owners are amazing and their restored house, former slavequarters is beautiful. The town of Natchez is a perfect place to learn about antebellum history. The breakfast is made with love and tasted amazing, don’t know how the toast is made but its magic! You can park your car next to the house.»
