«The Prairie Guest House was an absolute pleasure to stay. Staff was friendly, place was clean, and breakfast was a delight. I would come again.»

«Great Location.»

«Excellent staff. From being greeted at night check in to the breakfast host(s). The history of Grant Inn and the phots to accompany the history and story are fascinating. What a gem to find in Btown!»

«It is a historic three story home built in the 1800’s on 9 acres. The 6 rooms are richly appointed. The area is surrounded by corn fields. The owner, Hans is an excellent friendly host and a first class musician. He also serves as a breakfast chef and serves french toast from a family secret recipe. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if luckily our travels bring us back to the area. Highly recommended.»

«Really enjoyed our stay! Our host was an excellent chef! She also gave us some cool information about the area and her family. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!»

«Being a bird watcher I enjoyed the bird feeders outside the sliding glass door. The sliding door was difficult to open and close. The owner watched us in a kind of an uncomfortable way pointing out that he had cameras. The breakfast was very nice»

«Just a cozy, wonderful experience overall. Don’t pass up the free breakfast if you stay there on the weekend!»

«Extremely kind hostess who personally cooked and served a high quality breakfast every morning. Swiss Family Robinson Room, on 4th level of a house on a hill, was beautiful and very comfortable, especially with windows open on cool October nights;»

«Charles is a personable and well-informed innkeeper. The house, bedrooms, and common areas were all warm and inviting. Lovely decor throughout. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.»
