«We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the cabin and the location. Make sure you bring bug spray when sitting on the balcony/terrace.The little pond makes it really nice and quite some wildlife directly on the property.»

«The hosts were fabulous. Met us when we arrived and explained a few things. Some will was undertaken whilst we were staying there which made the kitchen much more usable and the bathroom for storage. Not quite big enough for a family of 5. Sleeping was well catered for but not enough room to sit inside for 5 people on the dining table or in the evening in the living room. «Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure. «Beautiful house, love thats its tucked into the forest overlooking a stream! Layout was great for my family of five, although the loft never quite cooled down enough so we pulled the mattresses down to the main floor, which was cooled nicely by the AC. Host was fantastic, very helpful, great location for exploring Fortuna! «We rented two cabins and they were perfect for our stay. The cabins were clean and comfortable and each had a lovely upper and lower deck where we enjoyed listening to the sounds of birds and insects during our stay. We found the location was further than La Fortuna than we expected, so we were glad to have a rental car, but the location was convenient for visiting hot springs and nearby nature reserves. Celia was very helpful in answering my questions. Would definitely stay here again.»

«AC was effective, kitchen had microwave and refrigerator which were useful. Beds were clean. Host provided dry towels daily. Watch for Tiny ants. the host gave us a spray for that but still a nuisance as they got into my clothes in the bag.»
