Tre dager i Seminyak.
Vi gikk i land fra ett Cruise fra Bangkok til Bali. Tilbragte tre dager her før vi reiste hjem igjen til Norge. Vi havnet i sidebygget på andre siden av gata. Dette klarte ikke jeg å se da jeg bestilte rom. Rommet var fint, men du føler deg litt utenfor hotellet. Vi bestilte på ett supertilbud 50%, og derfor var det akseptabelt opphold allikevel. Servicen på hotellet er glimrende og plasseringen likeså.

A 5 star hotel? Lot of traffic noise.
We had been travelling in for 2 weeks in different countries and wanted to spend our last week in Bali in a luxury 5-star hotel close to the beach. We had booked a superior room on Seminyak Beach&Spa in October 2022. The confirmation we got from Hotels.com/Expedia did not inform us that the room was located in a separate building from the main complex. The web site has no info on this either. From the pictures the superior rooms seems to be a part of the main complex with direct access to the garden and the beach. We only discovered that this was not the case when we checked in and of course this was a great disappointment. If we wanted to have a room at the main complex with garden view and direct access to the beach, the hotel asked for a 100% more in payment. Had we known that our room was located a across the street then we would not have booked the room. The room was nice and clean but the location what not at all in accordance with our expectations and what to expect from a 5-star hotel. The road between the main complex and the building where we was located has a lot of traffic and sometimes it started 3-4 in the morning. The rooms and windows are not very soundproof. For all services we had to cross the road to the main hotel complex. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the spa was excellent but the attitude of the management and the way we were treated was not a very positive experience. The follow up of our complaint to Hotels.com was slow

Vi var der en natt for å slappe av samt lade opp, noe vi absolutt fikk. Hotellet bærer preg av noe gammelt inventar, men romslig og komfortabel rom. Helt fantastisk beliggenhet, nær restauranter og shopping gate/senter. Stor basseng kant i kant med stranden og helt fantastisk hage.

Vi ble svært godt mottatt ved innsjekking - med god informasjon. Frokosten var meget bra, med mange sunde alternativ. Betjeningen var hyggelig og vennlig i alle delerav hotellet. Beliggenheten var ideell - på stranden med gangavstand til butikker, restauranter og barer.

Amazing!!
Dette er et av de beste hotellene vi har bodd på, og vi har reist mye. Servicen var helt utrolig, de ansatte virket veldig varme og omsorgsfulle. God frokost og bra underholdning på hotellet. Rommene var også store og romslige og utsikten var god. Hotellet har også en veldig bra spa! Definitivt er hotell vi vil tilbake til.

Fantastisk bra på alle måter. Svært bra beliggenhet, hyggelig personalet, nydelig hage og spesielt bassengområdet med pool og nærhet til sjøen. meget god mat. Fine rom inn mot Hagen. Vær ops på at noen rom ligger på andre siden av veien- vi booket først feil men fikk bytte mot et beløp. Anbefaler et SPA besøk.

Nice, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Food was overpriced and of poor quality compared to other restaurants in Seminyak. The staff was very service minded but has generally poor English skills.

Perfekt for par!
Jeg og kjæresten min hadde en helt fantastisk uke på dette hotellet! Rommene er store, rene og moderne. Vi betalte litt ekstra for å få rom i strandfløyen, noe jeg vil anbefale for alle. Høydepunktet ved oppholdet var det flotte bassengområdet som lå rett på stranden. Fra solsengene ved bassenget kan du titte utover havet og få med deg en fantastisk solnedgang. De ansatte på hotellet var alltid smilende og veldig serviceminded. Beliggenheten til hotellet er veldig god. Stranden er nydelig og Seminyak bugner av gode restauranter. Jeg vil spesielt anbefale Sarong og Chandi som begge serverer moderne asiatisk mat. Overall er dette et flott hotell med et gjennomført eksklusivt preg. Jeg vil anbefale The Seminyak for alle par og reisefølger uten barn.

Loved our April stay at this resort. Arrived at 1am after a 17hr flight and appreciated the smooth check-in process. They gave us these delicious pink ginger welcome drinks that were so refreshing in that humid heat. Surprisingly, we were then escorted to the other building located across the street in a 2min buggy ride. The room was very well presented with a comprehensive collection of amenities. Free high-speed WiFi that survived my streaming requirements :P also gave out enough face cotton pads and ear buds to last our entire stay. Breakfast was a generous hot & cold buffet from 7am until 10 I think. They had the usual western breakfast items as well as some indonesian ones (asam soto (chicken soup), nasi goreng (fried rice) mi goreng (fried noodles). Most of it was delicious 😋 my only gripe was that the fruits didn't taste delicious or fresh. The pineapple was tasteless and chewy. The melons, and all the other fruit were definitely not worth eating. The other gripe was there isn't a way for them to easily identify you e.g. wristbands. Both pools in the main building faced the beach which meant anyone walking along the beach could wander in easily. So we were constantly asked if we were resident guests which got quite tiresome as it happened several times per visit. However, their customer service was topnotch. If being fussy, one might not like having to cross the road between sites but they helped by stopping the mad Balinese traffic for us. I'd definitely return

Awesome property. Everyhing was lovely. Didn't honour Expedia room upgrade, out if in an area where there were constructions works, but the manager rectified both problems. Major drawback was breakfast was not in airconditioning room and didn't have fans. I couldn't enjoy the amazing breakfast because I was sweating too much.
