The cabin was pristine and beautiful. The hosts were quickly responsive to messages. The location is a new development with ample space between properties — construction on the adjacent lot didn't bother us. Finding the cabin was a minor challenge, but the host's welcome instructions were sufficient given daylight. FYI: expect big potholes on the gravel roads. The kitchen had stocked ingredients, utensils, cutlery, small appliances, a 2L pot, and a frying pan, plus a Weber grill outside. The 2L pot is small for a family pasta night, but manageable.Renters: proactively message the host about bed linens. I traveled with two children and only one loft bed had linens, which forced some awkward sleeping arrangements. We made it work, but it's worth sorting in advance. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights one clear evening. The hosts generously keep the hot tub on and ready. Note that proximity-triggered lights between the two buildings can briefly interfere with night vision, though they shut off after 10 seconds. Also, the guest house sits just north of the hot tub, blocking the northern horizon. The only north-facing window is in the loft, which had us gazing there since the aurora hugged the horizon during our stay.Overall, a lovely rental and we would happily return!
