Summary:

This home is NOT pet friendly. A $750 fine will be issues for any pets arriving at this home. This home is limited to 2 occupants. This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom vacation home is situated on the bluffs of The Sea Ranch.



The Space:

Sea Pine is the perfect size to accommodate up to 2 guests making for a great family vacation. The home features sweeping ocean views from the expansive living space. You will love strolling amongst the bluffs, hiking on trails, and taking day trips down to the nearby beach.



The living space has floor to ceiling windows offering stunning natural lighting and unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean. The living room is furnished with leather couches arranged around a woodstove. Light a fire at night when the breeze begins to pick up to create a cozy ambiance. There is a 32" flat screen TV (no cable), a DVD player, and Youtube TV for family entertainment. High speed fiber optic WiFi is also offered. Around the corner is a full bathroom for guests to share and access the washer and dryer, handy for any swimsuits.



Prepare your favorite meals from tasty snacks to mouthwatering dishes in the kitchen. Gather with your guests at the dining table with seating for 2 to have a home-cooked meal together.



Step outside onto the back deck for some fresh air. Patio chairs are situated for you to unwind with a glass of wine while you watch memorizing sunsets dip behind the ocean. The side deck holds a private hot tub. Take a dip in the warm water out here while you stargaze at night and listen to the waves crash close by.



The bedroom is on the main level of the home and has a King bed.



The Sea Ranch is a planned community with over 3000 acres featuring: The Historic Sea Ranch Chapel, The Sea Ranch lodge (restaurant and shopping), a 50-mile trail system with 6 public beach access points, and three recreation centers with outdoor pools, locker rooms, half-basketball court, and tennis courts (amenities vary with each center) for guest use. RV's, trailers, or mobile homes are strictly not allowed.



Please note: Linens and 100% cotton towels are provided in the home.



The Sea Ranch facility reservations for pool and tennis are available on the Sea Ranch Association website. The trails and beaches are open.

Pets strictly not allowed due to allergies and health concerns. Please contact us if you need assistance finding a pet friendly home. Any violation of the NO pet policy will result in a minimum $750 fine. THIS IS A NO PETS HOUSE!



This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.



There is currently a camera located outside in the back that has a view of the commons and the ocean view.

I loved this cozy house. The side facing the ocean is 100% windows. The deck, tho small, is perfect for morning coffee and sunset wine. The best stocked rental I’ve ever encountered - from high quality cookware to spices and even office supplies. Comfy furniture. Lots of lights in living area but none strong enough to read. But that was ok - I watched the giant tv! And nice not having to drive into Gualala on arrival. Never used the pool but loved the roomy hot tub.

Never rented a place before with so many informative notes throughout the property. Every shelf in the kitchen have notes on where things are to be placed. Even the spices jars have notes on how they are to be organized;).We enjoyed our stay. Quiet and peaceful property!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The check in process was not smooth. We had to wait around 2 hours before we could get into the property. Apparently there was one contract that had not been signed by me, and one identity verification. I never received notifications telling me that these were outstanding forms. So I ended up missing out on a few hours in the space. There also weren't really enough towels for the amount of time that we were there.We were there for two nights and there was only enough coffee and filters for one morning. The check out time was 10am, rather than the usual 11am. In general, we felt like for the amount of money we were paying for this house, it would have been nice to feel that there was more abundance in the details. Make sure there was more than enough coffee and give us a nice morning before we need to check out. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Great Stay

This was a lovely cozy house with great views of the ocean from the house and the hot tub, as well. The sofas are old and the springs from the cushions could be felt - so they could be replaced, but I'm concerned that to do so would motivate the owners to increase the price, which currently is relatively affordable. We placed some cushions that we have from home and the car and that was an adequate remedy. Other than a slight carpet stain by the master king sized bed, everything else was absolutely perfect and delightful. I would return here enthusiastically!

Excellent Sea Ranch Stay

We loved our stay at Sea Pine. The location is incredible with views of the ocean and right off the coastal trail. We appreciated being able to walk to beautiful vistas and the rec center, and then relax in our own hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals for ourselves.

Lovely, cozy home with unobstructed views

We have been coming to Sea Ranch for many years and always love its beauty, serenity, and peace. This house was just right for us--smallish, cozy, well-stocked kitchen. Beautiful meadow/ocean view. Loved the all-windows wall facing the ocean. Loved the little deck to sit on and enjoy a nice wine hour! Close to beautiful bluff trails along ocean. Only suggestion is to put warning/safety tape on the 2 stairs down to the wood-burning stove--can be hard to see.

Wonderful Stay for our Anniversary

We love Sea Ranch and this home was perfect to celebrate our anniversary. The location is wonderful right by the ocean and the coastal trails. The home was well equipped and the furniture and the bed were very comfortable. The wall of glass was perfect for ocean viewing, and we were often able to see white caps. I would say the only improvements would be better reading lights in the living room and maybe a safety strip on the stairs leading to the wood stove. But overall great stay and we would love to visit again.

Nice bluff location

Small house perfect for two people, located right on the Sea Ranch bluff with an easy walk to the Bluff Trail. You can see the splash from crashing waves from the family room - and the occasional deer.The hot tub was clean and relaxing.At night, if the skies are clear, there are fantastic star gazing opportunities.

Good spot for a couple.

Nice, smaller home but enough room for a couple. Good ocean view. Not a whitewater view from main deck but decent. View from chairs in glass enclosed area is better and it is a real good spot when the wind blows.

Great for a couples getaway

Beautiful location and amazing property. The hot tub is situated perfectly to guard from some winds and allow a perfect view. Very well stocked kitchen also, makes it so easy to enjoy without ever needing to leave. Comfortable bed. Wood-burning stove (wood also provided). Can't wait to make a return trip with my wife.

Beautiful spot

This house is just right for one or two people, and in a fantastic location. I’ve stayed at 4-5 different houses in Sea Ranch in the past few years, and this is my favorite so far. Right by the walking path, bed is comfortable, and you can hear the waves from the porch. I recommend it!

Perfect getaway!

Perfect for a romantic getaway or friend's weekend, this lovely oceanview cottage will help you relax and restore with its amazing view, clear skies for star gazing, privacy, peace and quiet. Right next to the Bluff path which winds around stunning views and quiet beaches. The kitchen is probably the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO we have stayed at - brand new coffee maker, air fryer, full spice cabinet, food processor, roasting pan - even napkins and table mats! Everything was clean and well-cared for. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. I am already recommending it to my friends!

70th Birthday Getaway

Staued 4 nights to celebrate a 70th Birthday. House was as listed. Good location. Private. Chairs on back deck for afternoon break. House was very clean. King sized bed was comfortable. Was great having the small washer and dryer. Kitchen had everything you could want. Had 2 rainy days and the wood for the.fireplace we t fast. But we boight our own, so not a problem. Staying that many days, though, should have more wood available. The lights by the hot tub didn't work and the door on the garage was difficult to deal with. Those would be the only problems. The unsual shower/tub was awkward to get in and out of. But I'm nitpicking. We had a wonderful time and plan on going back.

Lovely Getaway

The house is in a great spot along the coast, with no view obstructions, on the walking trail, and close to the community center. There's a very private entrance to the Bluff House and enough distance between the other homes to feel secluded. I didn't use the hot tub but it looked inviting! The interior is spacious and VERY clean! Decor is dated but it didn't bother me because it was so clean. The ONE thing that did bother me though was its lack of condiments. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment but every vacation rental I've stayed in has had a rotation of condiment staples for the kitchen so that one doesn't need to haul kitchen necessities on vacation. The refrigerator was completely empty, not even ice in the ice maker. Usually, there's ketchup, mustard, soy, bottles of salad dressing that other vacationers have left, etc... I wish I had known before I went grocery shopping. If you want to cook at the house using some of the many pots and pans and bakeware, just know you'll have to bring every single ingredient you need. I did run to the store for olive oil and left it at the house (every home needs olive oil) A wonderful stay regardless!
