«A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10»

«We stayed now on two occasions on our journeys north & south to Scotland. The bungalow is easily accessible not too far from the A1 & there are good convenience facilities just off the A1 roundabout less than 4 miles from Austerfield. The bungalow is furnished to a high standard with comfortable sofas & excellent beds & bedding. The location is in a secure park with intriguing deer statues in several places. Well recommended for short or long stays.»

«Very helpful and friendly owners, great location for visiting our new granddaughter. 2 mins walk to lovely Pearsons park. Some lovely welcoming items, lots of fresh fruit, bread, butter, milk and cake all vegan as owners are, a couple of things i would suggest is maybe a door curtain could be put in place as there was no privacy going from the bathroom across the kitchen to the bedroom also there was no smoke alarm present. All in all a nice stay 👍 »

«The property was perfect. We stayed for 3 nights over a weekend. The house we were in was ideal for us. The house itself was really nicely finished, there was tons of space and it was in a beautiful setting. My young daughter really enjoyed going out to say hello to the chickens in the morning.»

«This was a lovely cottage for our Christmas break, perfect for 2 adults and a dog. Maintained to a high standard and catered for all our needs. We'd like to return in Spring/Summer to further explore the area. Owners were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. Little touches like xmas gifts for us and our dog were much appreciated. Thank you Lucy, Chris and Molly dog.»

«What a fantastic property and lovely location, we booked The Cart Shed as a base for visiting York, the amazing Aquarium in Hull and the nearby town of Beverley which is such a lovely town with all the shops and eateries you would want. Staying here would also be a relaxing and peaceful place for a break. The Cart Shed has everything you need, just pack your clothes and enjoy the experience. Will definitely be returning!»
