Step into glamorous Villa Chiara, a villa for 8 set close to the town of Donnalucata and the superb sandy beaches of southeast Sicily. The villa extends over 300m², overlooking an enclosed garden, and featuring generously sized bedrooms and living space. Outside, dine alfresco on the vast, sweeping terrace with views over the surrounding countryside towards the sea.

The top spot at the villa is the indoor heated pool and wellbeing area, complete with jacuzzi, sauna, and ample space around the pool for relaxation.



Decorated in a grand, traditional style, with twinkling chandeliers, a magnificent elaborate staircase, and sumptuous fabrics and furniture, the villa exudes elegance inside and out. However, with that comes a host of modern comforts, including air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a lavishly equipped kitchen.



The villa’s entrance on the first floor provides access to a living room with fireplace and games table, 2 bedrooms, and the level 1 terrace. Two more bedrooms are on the second floor, while the kitchen, a large informal living/dining room, a utility room and a wellness zone are on the ground floor, leading out to the main dining terrace and garden.

A fantastic base for the beaches and UNESCO sights of baroque southeast Sicily



Spend relaxing days on the beaches around Donnalucata, or head inland to explore the baroque towns of the Val di Noto.



• Nearest sandy beach at Donnalucata (900m). Enjoy a string of sandy beaches between Punta Secca and Marina di Modica.

• Nearest shops and restaurants at Donnalucata (900m), with plenty more restaurants in Marina di Ragusa.

• Visit the nearby Castello di Donnafugata.

• Head inland to visit some of Val di Noto’s remarkable UNESCO towns, including Scicli (9km), Modica (19km) and Ragusa (31km).

• If you have time, head further afield to Noto (60km) and Syracuse (67km).

• Inland, Caltagirone (85km) is renowned for its wonderful ceramics and 142-step staircase.

• Enjoy a range of water sports – snorkelling, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding – and boat excursions.

• The nearest airport is in Catania (137km).



An all-year-round villa in one of the most extraordinary regions of Sicily



• July and August can get very hot in southeast Sicily, while spring and autumn are the best times to visit. During this time, you can expect warm sunshine and pleasant temperatures for sightseeing. Naturally, with an indoor pool and spa area, the villa is also an excellent option throughout the year.

• If you’re a fan of the fictional detective Montalbano, Villa Chiara is an excellent base for exploring some of the sites used for filming the TV series. His home is on the beach at Punta Secca, and several buildings in Scicli feature in the series.

• The villa is equipped with a lift from the first to the second floor.

• We recommend having your own car to explore the area. On-site outdoor parking is available on the property.
