"The hotel was exactly what I needed for a short, relatively cheap holiday in Amsterdam. The situation is central so I was able to walk everywhere. The room was small without being cramped and with it's own bathroom. The common area was welcoming allowing me to boil water for tea or coffee any time of the day, or sit on the balcony. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Other reviewers were ignorant of traditionally steep Amsterdam staircases, I've stayed in a few other small Amsterdam hotels and know what to expect. I was on the top floor so climbed all the narrow steps a few times each day. After the first night I learned not to attract mosquitoes by having both an open window and the light on. Next time I come to Amsterdam I'll certainly try for the same hotel."
