«The place was clean but old. Not enough dishes, toilet paper, no paper towels. There was wash cloths and towels but they were put up very high we didn’t find them until it was time to leave but over all it was a great place to lay our heads and we thank the owner My recommendation is to paint and update unit to look bright and sleek and to get a toilet for tall people. My mom had a hard time sitting on the low toilet so did I. Overall it served it’s purpose»

«Just stayed at Shawn’s place with 12 good friends with the intention to grill, drink, relax and play games. It could not have been a better experience. The house is spectacular with a huge yard for any lawn activities/games you can think of. There is something for everyone in this house and over the 3 days none of us ran out of ways to enjoy it. «Pictures were accurate. If you have a large group would advise bringing larger pans for cooking as the ones here were small and limited in numbers. The water softener would probably help eliminate or minimize the sulfur smell from the water, however, there was no salt in the brine tank to make it work. So if that is a concern I would also advise bringing bottled water. We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding and it was very convenient. Also host was very prompt in response times.»

We found the perfect place, a “Tranquil Cottage in the Woods with Lake Michigan only 300 feet away.” The perfect combination of the beautiful woods and the lapping/crashing waves of Lake Michigan gave us a relaxing weekend. «Newly rehabbed farm bunkhouse. Nice basket of goodies waiting for us. Private but owners were near if we needed them. Quiet. Favorite part was a big picture window that showed beautiful sunsets! Lots to do in the area. Restaurants, walking paths, beautiful bike path!»
