Breathtaking, Premium Ocean View Villa with Beach Access. NEWLY REMODELED!

Spend your tropical beach vacation in Playa Hermosa at Villas Sol Beach Resort, a short 20-minute drive from Liberia's International Airport. Our newly remodeled Villa has incredible ocean views and beach access. This Villa offers breathtaking views of Playa Hermosa. In the evening you can enjoy one of the 3 private patios to watch the sunset. The Villa has a brand new, fully stocked kitchen for any cooking you wish to do while your here. This resort also offers an all inclusive option to eat and drink at the resort restaurant & bars that can be utilized for all or part of your stay. The bedroom on the main floor has a separate entrance and has two queen beds and a private bathroom & small patio. As you enter the main living area, there is a private terrace, sitting room, kitchen, & dining. Located on the upper level are the other two bedrooms, each with a Queen bed. The other full bathroom is on the upper level. All linens and bathroom towels are provided. The best views in the Villa are located on the upper terrace, and is a great place to enjoy the sunsets and the night sky.

Villas Sol beach resort is a gated community and has a free shuttle within the community that can take you to any of the 3 pools, restaurants, bars, or to the beach. Walking is also invigorating in this tropical paradise, keep an eye out for the colorful birds & monkeys in the trees. The beach is long and beautiful with abundant water activities, such as snorkeling, sport fishing, jet skiing and scuba diving. There are some great restaurants and bars along this stretch of beach. You can also find other restaurants, grocery & liquor stores a short 10 minute walk down the street from the resort.

A number of national parks lie within a short traveling distance. Rincon de la Vieja National Park, Palo Verde National Park, and Santa Rosa National Park. These parks provide a great opportunity to view wildlife and experience a few of Costa Rica's diverse ecosystems.

That view! What a great balcony and place to hang out and relax and watch the sunset. Well stocked with everything we needed. Blender came in handy! AC works well. The shuttle system was easy. beach and back was smooth with the shuttle coming every 10-15min. Found it was best to walk down to the hotel area and catch the direct shuttle to the beach. Very nice unit with comfy beds and eating area. In unit laundry. Hard to keep the ants out so make sure you clean up after yourself. Could use a few more bowls for family breakfast. All in all a fantastic week.

Beautiful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. Very clean, amazing views, spacious unit with all you need within. The views from the top balcony at sunset was a standout. AC worked well. Short walk to the beach (up hill on the way home was tiring, but doable), shuttles ran very frequently.

Great views, great services

Villa Sols is a great place! Be aware tho, on the map it seems like an easy quick walk to the beach. It is not. BUT the shuttles seem to be always running and swept by our place to pick us up regularly. Every villa has great views because they are built up the side of the hill, which means the only way to go is down, lol. Reception was wonderful, host was very responsive. I wish we had brought some rainy day activities tho. There were not any games or anything. Everything else was first rate for a great stay near the beach! We had a howler visit the trees outside the balcony a couple times during our stay, which was fun. Iguanas galore! And an interesting set of large blue birds would stop by the balcony and ask if we had any extra scraps of fruit we could share. There were one million hermit crabs on the beach ranging from tiny to quarter size. The bigger ones came out at night. We liked looking in the tide pools at night with our flashlights. Didn’t see anything amazing, but the mudskippers, sea slugs and baby tropical fish were interesting. The swimming pools were awesome! Very warm, but so was the ocean! Bottom line: if you want a relaxing great time in a wonderful beach resort, book here. If your interest is more in line with seeing the rainforest and all the wildness that has to offer, book up on Arenal. We spent a week in both places and they were very different experiences.

Home away from home

Our family stayed here for three weeks in November, which ended up being a particularly rainy end to the rainy season. Regardless, we LOVED it and found it hard to leave even after three weeks. The place itself was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and actually well-stocked. It was such a treat that it is part of a resort, where we had access to pools, food and drinks, spa services, and activities. The resort staff were all so friendly and enhanced the stay. Sherrie was a great host who communicated promptly and answered my endless questions. I highly recommend staying here and hope to stay here again myself one day.

The unit was absolutely wonderful with amazing views. The unit was very clean and well supplied for the stay. Communication with the host was very easy and she was very responsive. The location is wonderful, so close to the beach. Would recommend a car to be able to visit other beaches and parks

Perfect spot

We had a great time staying in Playa Hermana. The beach is spectacular, people are kind, food is great, and our villa was perfect. We never used the pools and spent all of our time on the beach and other excursions. The villa was super clean, had everything we needed, and had a great view of the sunset. Transportation down to the beach was very easy. Highly suggest staying here.

Fantastic stay and location!

What a wonderful experience this was. It was our first time in Costa Rica and this was the perfect location to begin our trip. The resort has 2 pools and one very large hot tub. The swim up bar was fun and we watched the sunset from each pool different nights and it was beautiful. What a fantastic view from our place. Sitting outside on the veranda in the morning or late at night was so nice. It got very hot out there during the day, and there was no shade, but that didn't matter because we were not around during the day. The A/C in the unit and each bedroom worked great. They had all the kitchen stuff we could want. And the free shuttle that took us to the pools or the beach, was awesome. The beach was perfect. We got cocktails at Roberto's each day, and massages on the beach as well, which only cost $40 or less if you had more than one person getting one. We would love to stay here again if we come back!

Beautiful, clean, and bright.

This property has breathtaking views, the pictures don’t do it justice. You walk into large windows on the main floor that overlook the ocean as well as a beautiful deck on the second floor with the same view. I am very picky about the cleanliness where I stay and this place is very very clean. Everything is new and bright with a lot of natural light. There is a shuttle that made it easy to get around the grounds and will take you right down to the beach. We even saw monkeys in the tree at the beach entrance. Owner is quick to respond when we had a couple questions. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back.

Million dollar view!

From the moment you walk into the house the view from the main living area confirms you made a great choice for your stay. The brand new furnishings make a clean appearance for you to focus on your vacation and the beautiful scenery outside. We spent a lot of time enjoying the condo since we felt like it was so relaxing and perfect there was no need to leave. The property is great and with two pool options, one with a swim up bar and one with another great view of the ocean. We also enjoyed the yoga deck up top of the property overlooking the ocean in the morning with the wonderful sounds of nature surrounding you. I am a beach lover and enjoyed the many restaurants all along the beach. Loved my morning walks and playing in the water. This property is truly the best place I have stayed in Costa Rica by far, can’t wait to come back with the family!

Clean, Comfortable, New, & the VIEWS!!!!

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the VEIW. It's truly breathtaking with green hills rolling into a clear ocean view of Playa Hermosa. The unit is clean and modern with brand new furniture and appliances. There are AC units in each space to control the temp perfectly. Check-in was a breeze at the front desk and we got to ride the open air shuttle up to our unit. The bedding was all clean and comfy and the closets looked brand new, as did the bathrooms. I loved having my morning coffee on the upper patio, just taking in the ocean views and listening to howler monkeys call out in the nearby jungle. The resort is beautiful with several big pools including one with a swim up bar. Views from the restaurant were equally impressive. There was plenty to keep us busy. We swam, played ping pong, went paddle boarding and snorkeling. The beach is a short walk down the hill but the open-air shuttle is always available to transport you too. It is clean and safe and beautiful. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be booking this unit again soon! Perfection!
