You get what you pay for .... this is a 3 Star hotel and is a reasonable price.....however that does not excise some basic quality issues. Bathroom towels were old and some torn. Shower was a handled (that leaked), toilet seat was broken (and after 2 requests we gave up) and hot water was sporadic. There was no reliable WiFi so the SMART TV didn't work at all. Some outlets also did not work.
Neighbourhood was a bit run down (but safe) and the Colonial district was about a 10 min walk.
Good things were the pool....small and a bit cloudy but nice to have. Breakfast was decent but get there early. Jose was excellent and the staff generally pleasant and helpful.
All in all an OK experience but if I had to do it again, I would pay a bit more for a nicer hotel.
We have stayed in many hotels in the Colonial District so we do have a decent perspective and knowledge of the options.
