The Price includes:

- Tourist tax (where applicable);
- Extra cleaning in case of animals (€ 50,00/week or part of week/animal).
Villa Ingrid is located just outside the small town of Santa Venerina, in an agricultural area at an altitude of 200 m on the slopes of Etna. It is located in an ideal position for exploring the small villages along the perimeter of the slopes of Etna where you can find excellent restaurants and renowned cellars for tasting local wines and products. We are about half an hour by car from the two most important centres, Acireale and Giarre. The well-known town of Taormina is just over 30 km away. Villa Ingrid was once the home of a large vineyard in the 20th century. After being abandoned for many years, it was purchased and transformed into a villa for events, as it was possible to make use of large spaces both inside and outside. The villa is structured on two levels, with elegant living areas, a modern and well-equipped kitchen with access to the panoramic outdoor terrace and six elegant suites, all with air conditioning and private bathroom. The style is modern and versatile and each bedroom has particular details. One with a small terrace with a view of Mount Etna, one with bathtub in the room and others with a sitting room. The pride of the place is the wellness area which has been created on the ground floor, with a heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi tub with solarium, Swedish sauna, massage room and gym; furthermore, a separate structure houses a projection room and a billiard room. Surrounding the house is a large level park, with vast expanses of lawn dotted with palm trees and a large swimming pool with solarium with, just a few steps away, a table under the shade of a portico, perfect for a game of cards in good company.
Interior:
Villa Ingrid has two floors connected by external stairs and a convenient lift. The ground floor, reachable via a short flight of stairs, is destined as a leisure/relaxation area; here is the SPA (on request with extra payment) with indoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi with solarium, sauna, massage room (available only with professional massage therapist), as well as a projection room and a billiard room. An external staircase, or the lift, lead up to the heart of the house on the upper foor, consisting of a large bright living room with small workstation, two lounge areas, one with fireplace and the second with sofas, an elegant dining table and a grand piano. From this living area you proceed to a double bedroom with sitting area and small terrace with a view of Mount Etna, served by an en-suite bathroom with shower, and to a double bedroom with tub in the room and en-suite bathroom with shower. The corridor from the living room leads to the well-equipped linear kitchen, with direct access to the terrace equipped with dining area (from where you can then proceed down the majestic double staircase that leads to the park and pool area), and to a further four double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, two with shower and two with tub. On the first floor, lastly, is a small room used as a laundry room with washer-dryer and various equipment. Air conditioning in the bedrooms and living rooms of the main floor.
Park:
Five thousand metres of park form the wonderful setting of Villa Ingrid, enlivened by gardens, lawn areas and paved paths bordered by secular trees, palms and potted flowers. The upper floor terrace, with easy access from the kitchen, has a dining area shaded by a pergola. Near the swimming pool is another relaxation area protected by a large portico. The property is accessed through an automatic gate, past which is the large parking area.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The pool area is located at the rear of the villa, about 150 m away, and reached down the flight of stairs from the terrace. You can avoid the stairs by using the lift located at the front of the house. The area is bordered by a railing on one side and by an expanse of lawn dotted with palm trees. At the centre lies the rectangular pool with rounded edges, embellished by a small waterfall that ends in a second small pool, creating a pleasant background of flowing water. The pool, measuring 4 x 14 m with the depth varying from 1,20 to 1,90 m, is lined in mosaic and has chlorine purification and two metal ladders for access. On the terracotta paving surrounding the pool are sunbeds and umbrellas. In a slightly steep area is a table and chairs shaded by a portico. A cold-water shower is available. The swimming pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.
Pets: Yes, small size. € 50,00 per animal per week. Acceptance of animals to the facility must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.
