Welcome to our gorgeous Poolhouse Getaway #53 at Ocotillo Spring Resort! This 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom vacation home at Ocotillo Springs has it all. Accommodate up to 26 guests in one home! Enjoy your own private pool, hot tub, and poolside fire pit with pergola-covered dining area for 6 with BBQ. The kids will never want to leave! Wait until the kids see the XBox with 100 games via the digital game pass provided. Or how about the 2 Pac-Man or NBA Jam arcade games upstairs (this is perfect to have while others are busy playing the XBox). But, wait! Don't forget about the ping pong table and basketball double shot in the garage. It truly is the ultimate getaway house for southern Utah retreats for families with kids. Or that family reunion home base you've always wanted. There is an open concept kitchen, poolside dining area, upper balcony with firepit, outdoor TV and spiral stairs for quick access to the pool below. This place is advertised to sleep more than it accommodates. They don’t have even have enough towels for the pool and for regular use. The two pull out beds were completely unusable. One was broken and the other had a lock on it. We were told to just put the dirty mattresses on the dirty carpet or use blow up ones. That might be acceptable if we were paying a campground fee, but not a VRBO. We didn’t discover this until we went to go to bed so it was very disappointing for our group. Don’t make the same mistake as we did. This unit does not comfortably sleep more than 20. The unit was very dusty and we found food and wrappers from previous guests. The pool and hot tub were great, clean and well maintained.

Private pool retreat

We booked this for our spring break getaway with 2 other families. The 3 masters and kids bunk rooms were almost perfect. The triple bunk beds are a little snug and the kids didnt sleep on the middle or bottom bunk, but we made it work. The house was clean with great space for the teens and adults. Kitchen is smaller size but was able to accommodate our group of 15 for all meals. Nice weather made it easier to eat on the colder day we couldn't use the outside table and the counter gets crowded when the table is in use. Only a few downsides, we didn't have a sponge or brush to hand wash dishes, we ended up purchasing one. And sharing one fridge between 3 families was a little difficult. Overall we really enjoyed this place and would likely book again.

Family vacation

The property is advertised to sleep 26 which really it is not big enough to accommodate that many people. The two hide-away beds were either broke or in such terrible condition that the kids/young adults all opted to sleep on the floor. Our other thought was if it really can handle 26 people a bigger refrigerator would be advised. Other than these two issues we enjoyed our stay. The kids loved having their own pool and the location as far as proximity to grocery store and parks was excellent. We love St George and definitely will be visiting again. If we bring a large group like this again we would look for a different unit.

Spring Break

We loved our stay and was perfect for our spring break. We didn't want to leave and asked for extended stay. My wife and children and grandkids were all accommodated very well. Plenty off room and bathrooms. Beds were comfortable If there was a question we received it in no time. I felt very safe with our 1 and 2 year old grandsons and the pool. The sliding doors were heavy enough they couldn't open them by themselves and our other grand kids played in the pool almost everyday. They all loved it and we will come back and stay. Thank you

Check-in was the only issue and it was small. The code to get into the unit didn’t work. It was late and we had small children so it was a little inconvenient. I sent several messages to the company and they did get back to me in about a half hour. They gave me a new code and we were good to go. Absolutely no issues after that.

Fall Break in Santa Clara

We were very happy with our stay here. From reading prior reviews we assumed there would be issues with the pool. Fortunately for us we had a family member who works with pools and was able to take care of all the pool issues that came up. There is only one pool maintenance worker for all their properties and he wasn't able to stop by at all during our stay. Upon check-in after 4 they were still cleaning up after the last group and our door code would not work. Customer service was great to work with for both of these issues. The only other negative would be the two pullout beds in the upstairs living room are very uncomfortable, would just use air mattresses in the future. Overall this was a beautiful home and was a great place for a large family, fall break stay-cation. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms are spacious, there were pool accessories to use in the garage, and so many great amenities that kept us happy for the long weekend!

Our stay for visit to Zion

Overall we had a great experience in staying at this property. Place was very clean, good layout, spacious and comfortable for 15 of our family. Pool and Jacuzzi made the highlight of the stay. Property management were very attentive to our needs and great with availability. I would only suggest for those planning on staying to ask for access to pool and spa app from property management prior to stay to be able get full use of features to the pool/spa like water fall or lights in pool. We definitely would be open to staying here again.

Excellent place to stay

We had 19 adults stay here and had plenty of room, plenty of towels and bedding. Wonderful private pool and hot tub! Other places we have stayed it has been difficult to moderate the water temp, but this one was perfect the entire stay. It did take us a while to find the controls for the hot tub temp, waterfall and lights. It would be nice to have that listed in the folder of information. Adults who slept in the 3-high bunks said they were rickety and they were afraid to roll over for fear of waking the others up. It was fairly noisy from neighbors on all sides throughout Saturday, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, this probably isn't for you. I noticed it, but it didn't bother us as we had music on at times (and probably some loud laughter) also. I didn't notice any noise in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again!

Fun stay

We enjoyed the home, it was very clean. The pool was very warm and hard to enjoy during the hot days, but the community pool was very refreshing and fun. Littles enjoyed the arcade machine! Lots of seating to eat meals together. Came across a few maintenance issues that needed attention but over all our family of 16 loved the home!

Everything was so beautiful the house was great the scenery breath taking did not want to leave... only 2 very minor glitches was the trashcans were full and the the firepit out side was not where it showed in the original picture... but all in all great experience my granddaughter did not want to leave as did i... thank you 😊
