Meet exotic creatures at the Amazon World Zoo Park, within 1 mile, and home to lemurs, meerkats, tropical butterflies and many rare or endangered species. Enjoy a day at the seaside on the beach in Sandown (4.5 miles), with miles of golden sand, a pier with fun entertainments and traditional beach cafes along the promenade. Explore Arreton Barns (2 miles) a showcase for crafts and artworks made by local practitioners and visit remarkable Osborne House (9 miles), Queen Victoria’s beloved country retreat.


Walk up the gravel path in a large, sheltered garden towards your delightful wooden hideaway and climb two shallow steps to an area of decking. On the right is the door to a beautifully crafted traditional sauna, perfect for relaxing tired limbs at the end of the day. To your left is the entrance to a bright and welcoming open-plan living area, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. This features a cosy sleeping area with a king-size bed, and a stylish contemporary kitchen housing two portable single ring induction hobs, microwave and fridge, plus all the utensils needed to get cooking. A small table and chairs slot neatly into place and there’s a sleek shower room and WC.


Outside, wander down the garden for a quiet moment in the covered seating area on the lawn, or light up the impressive, woodfired hot tub, perfect for a luxurious soak as you watch the sun go down. Cook up tasty treats on the BBQ. There is private parking for one car.
