Hoteller i Sandon

«The description of the Nuffield Health facility as a spa is somewhat misleading - it’s a sports club with a pool used for (noisy) swimming lessons, there is nothing relaxing about it as there are just 3 “beds” to sit on around the pool, and members make an issue of anyone having left a towel on there for just a few minutes (rudely removing it and taking the bed for their own use).»

«this was not very clean. next to a higway and a petrol station. no food and not possible for breakfast»

«We stayed at the Fox for 1 night and the staff made us and our dog feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Thank you all at the Fox. We’ll hopefully see you again.»

«Et typisk forretnings hotell. Hotellet ligger rett ved en hovedvei med mye støy. Vinduene er dårlig isolerte, så du hører mye støy hvis du får rom ut mot veien. Kalde bad. Ikke varme i gulv. Det er lite restauranter og andre urbane fasiliteter i umiddelbar nærhet. God standard på hotellet og god frokost. Stevenage er en forholdsvis trist by.»

«Lovely modern room in restored old building. Staff were helpful, and both dinner and breakfast in the pub were great.»

«Supert hotell, med vennlig og hjelpsom betjening. Fine rom og god frokost. Vi kommer tilbake. »

«Hyggelig hotell, god seng, men litt for varmt på rommet. Hyggelige fellesområder, grei frokost.»

«The hotel was without aircondition during the warmest months of the summer, and this was not informed about. When I asked why, I was told that the management had desided to upgrade the aircntition system for the hotel. Will be back in service in November 2026»

«It has to be said that the house and grounds are superb and Met my desire to have my friend wake up on her 80th birthday in palatial surroundings. However I have just been informed at the end of breakfast that it is not included in my Expedia booking! There is no warning of that whatsoever and I think that it is deceitful and deceptive. »

«A beautiful hotel, grounds and local amenities»

«Excellent service from Maria all time five 💫»

«Rommet eg budde på var rent men litt gammeldags, knapper som ikke fungerte på lysene, dårlige dører inn til rommet, burde kanskje pusset opp visse plasser. Frokosten var god og enkel. Viss man ikke har bil så er det et lite stykke med bil ned til sentrum, men var ok pris med Uber.»

«We really like staying at the Feathers we have stayed here a number of times. There is everything you need. The rooms are comfortable with a lovely selection of teas, coffee, biscuits with the option of collecting fresh milk from the bar. There is an iron in the room. The bar & restaurant are good with good selection of cocktails & wine. The staff are friendly & helpful The location is good for visiting family in Hertford and travelling to London via the A10. Good value for money too»
