«It took us (9 people? a long time to get to Lake Como due to the significant delays with our trains. We were exhausted by 5pm when we finally arrived at Varenna station. Thanks to the timely and useful information provided by Claudia, we were able to get on the van run by Monica right away and get to the property with ease. «It’s an old property with stairs and no way to carry your luggage but by lifting yourself. It’s okay we are hikers and able to carry our luggage but people with heart conditions will surely have issues accessing the stairs to reach the property and the villa we booked is just one room facing the lake at 3rd floor with old doors and bathroom is outside so is the kitchen. People are friendly till you reach the property and after that you are on your own 😊»
