Disappointing stay — not worth the price
We arrived on January 1st and were informed our reserved ocean-view room was unavailable due to overbooking. We were placed in another room and promised priority the next day, but after multiple inquiries our room wasn’t ready until the evening due to poor communication between management and housekeeping. When we finally received it, the room was not properly cleaned.
The hotel is outdated, elevators and security key access do not work consistently, valet parking is slow and understaffed, and several amenities are unusable. The gym equipment and laundry machines do not work, forcing guests to use the adjoining hotel.
The $27 breakfast buffet is not worth the price and lacks customer service (except for the egg station attendant). We were also told the breakfast vouchers given as “compensation” are provided to all guests. The buffet itself is located at the adjoining hotel — which honestly would have been the better place to stay.
Overall, poor service, broken amenities, and inadequate compensation made this a frustrating stay.
