The stay at this property would’ve been a 5 star overall if the communication was better. There was a power outage on one of the night for more than 12 hrs. Power outages are common on PR, however I did not receive any communication until the next day after many attempts I made. We had an uncomfortable night and I just wanted to get some advice on how to make it better and any idea of how long the power outage would be, etc. I asked how the could make it up to our family, and after a week I still have not received any communication back. The lack of communication and not showing concern or not attempting to make it better did not feel good at all. I hope they can read this and make it right.

Okay

Enjoyed my family vacation . The beach close to the property wasn’t what I expected for swimming. The pull out bed mattress was broken so it didn’t sleep 6 as stated. We did struggle with the electric fans when you turned one on or off it turned the other one on and off. So it was frustrating. Can’t say this is a place I would book next year for my family vacation.

Homey and clean apt

The apt was spacious and clean. The groceries in the fridge were such a thoughtful and useful detail! So nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit too. We had an issue with the A/C but they sent a technician the same day that we reported it and the A/C was fixed that day. We had a nice stay !

Comfortable and attractive base for a visit to San Juan

We stayed at Blue Wave for 3 nights in March. The apartment is a large, attractive, and comfortable two-bedroom in a high-rise in a quiet neighborhood. We took ubers into Old San Juan, but the apartment has a parking space so you can rent a car if you prefer. From the apartment, it is a very short walk to Ocean Park beach, which is attractive, though a city beach. Much of SJ seems to have a problem with rip tides this time of year, so if swimming is a priority, you might want to stay in the Isla Verde neighborhood (apparently the calmest water) or someplace with a pool, or go to the South coast instead of to San Juan. However, on one of our two days, there was no rip tide warning and two of us (adult and teen) swam comfortably at Ocean Park. It is about a 18-20-minute walk to a few casual restaurants, including a good bakery, Kasalta. As others have mentioned, it's nice that the management provides a few pantry stables. The apartment also is a short walk to a supermarket "Plaza Loiza," which for some reason isn't listed in the informational binders in the apartment. Communication with the management was good-- we arrived late but were given a code and had no trouble getting in. Overall, we liked the quiet of this neighborhood and the comfort of the apartment and would stay here again.

Just lovely

The apartment was perfect for us! Our college kids shared the room with twin beds and enjoyed having a parent-free zone. The beds were comfy, bathrooms clean and the ceiling fans kept us cool. Kitchen is fairly well stocked with pots and pans, lots of spices and condiments and a much appreciated stock of eggs, milk and cheese (and rum!). The management company staff were very helpful and patient - entry was easy. We did rent a car and appreciated the assigned and gated parking and the friendly security guards. We also used Uber a few times and other than now getting Uber alerts in Spanish it worked well. Parking in Old San Juan near the fort was inexpensive, about a 15 - 20 minute drive. We also drove to National Park, and to a beach about 45 mins away that was spectacular. We took advantage of the beach towels and chairs, walked around the neighborhood and generally relaxed. This was a great home base for us.

I loved how there was some groceries left for us in the refrigerator. There was some coffee, tea and some drinks. Everything was perfect. There was even chairs and towels to go to the beach which was great because that was one of our things going to different beaches while we were there. The communication with the property manager and everyone was great and they were on point email, texting, calling. I really recommend this place. I definitely will go back.

Perfect place!

My girls and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this apartment. It was spacious and fully stocked with all the necessities. When we discovered there wasn't a blow dryer available, the staff supplied one the same day!!! Excellent service and lovely place. Would highly recommend ☺️☺️

Perfect for us!

This property was wonderful. It had everything we could have wanted for our vacation. We did not want to be in a touristy area, and this place was just right. You're not right in San Juan where traffic is crazy, but you're close enough that a quick drive will get you there. The beach is a 2 minute walk down the street. There's a gas station within walking distance. The pool was an amazing amenity as well. The security guards were friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay at Punta Las Marias again on a return trip to Puerto Rico.

Beautiful Quiet Stay Next to the Ocean

Our family came for a quick stay in San Juan and we had a wonderful time. Check-in was pretty seamless because the property management team works very efficiently and was always accessible. The property was quiet, clean and safe. It features wonderful ocean views and is literally feet away from the shore. The unit is modern and nicely appointed. The central location places you 10 minutes away from the airport, Old San Juan, Condado and Isla Verde. There are also wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The entire family was pleased, which is not easy to do.
