«Jeg bodde nylig på Marines Memorial Club & Hotel og hadde et fint og spesielt opphold. Dette er et eldre, tradisjonsrikt hotell med mye sjel – ikke moderne, men fullt av historikk. Går man gjennom gangene, føles det nesten som et lite museum, med veggene dekket av militære bilder og minner fra hotellets røtter som klubb for Marine Corps.
Standardmessig er hotellet gammelt og noe slitt, og det har den typiske «amerikanske» teppefølelsen som også kan lukte litt gammelt. Rommene fungerer greit, ...
