«Unit itself was great for pets, and host was very gracious about having a furry guest! Dog bowls, towels, and treats were also provided. Place was clean and super comfortable. Only minor downside is that the neighborhood is not very walkable beyond Ash street, stuck in between two main thoroughfares with not much shoulder/sidewalk/trail space. But just a short 5-10 min drive into downtown Mill Valley! (Also great Wi-Fi speeds!)»

«Overall 4/5 stars!!Pros: House was perfect for our stay, very comfortable beds and furniture. Kitchen had everything we could need and more! Cons: WiFi was occasionally spotty - only an issue bc my partner and I were working from home during the week. Also, feel the need to note that there are 65 steps to get up to the house and the path is not well lit in parts at night so travel carefully!»

«The cottage itself was exactly as pictured inside, and it’s in a nice neighborhood. However, we were a bit surprised by the backyard situation, which was the main reason we booked. The property details said it was a “private hideaway,” but the cottage is located behind another house, and much of the yard shown in photos is actually shared. «Joe is a superb host--very friendly and helpful without intruding and accommodating when we unexpectedly needed a key for the cottage.The place was clean and bright and had what we needed for lots of cooking and eating there. Some rentals are sterile, and this had color and decor that made it feel warm.Our favorite feature is the little seating area outside. We enjoyed it multiple times.
