Located in Salvo where the beaches are wide and uncrowded, Sandescape is in a slower-paced, laid-back area while still being just a short drive away from shopping, dining and outdoor activities. Just 2.5 miles south you'll find the popular Salvo Day Use Area, where you can experience the other side of the island. Maintained by the National Park Service, this family-friendly soundside beach includes a picnic area and restroom facilities. It's the perfect place for launching kayaks, kiteboards and SUP's. For more adventure, take a short drive south to Cape Hatteras where you can climb the lighthouse, go driving on the beach, or hop on a ferry to Ocracoke. Pets allowed - dogs only. No smoking/vaping.
