This is a very nice house. It was very clean when we arrived. It needs some work, but there was a lot of room and nice spaces. The sliding door down by the pool was terrible. It no longer slides and was extremely difficult to open and close. Communication with Hatteras Realty was difficult at best. We couldn't get details about the house and the house description is very general. They also told us we would be texted when it was ready and we were not. I understand they're managing a lot of properties, but don't even say that if it's not going to happen. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans which was nice and there are 2 refrigerators with freezers and ice makers. The pool and hot tub were really nice and well maintained. Be aware there is a camera pointed right at the pool, so it is not at all private. The worst part were all the steps. I would bring multiple gates if you have young children. The beach is also not very close. It's probably more than a half mile walk to the water. That didn't matter much to us, but it says "1 minute walk" and it's definitely more like 10-15 minutes. There are great bait shops and restaurants nearby.

Property was just as advertised clean when first arriving stores and beach all convenient within the location love the pool and hot tub and entertainment of games on the first floor. Will definitely try to come back again. Thank you.

The house has the basic necessities and loved having the option for a hot tub and pool. Having separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms was AMAZING, the beds are super hard though.

Enjoyable stay

It was an enjoyable stay. 7 mins of walking to the beach. Each room has its own bathroom is a plus!. Toiletries and bedding are good 👍. Few things to improve: 1 room has a damper corner which has unpleasant odor. Need garbage disposal. No hair dryer.

Much needed rest

The house was lived in. Needs updated but its a beach home. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Huge pool. Dog friendly home. Did carpet have stains, yes. Didnt bother us. Cabinets need updated, yes but they worked. Beds were hard and pillows were cheap. Yes but when ur tired who cares. Overall trip amazingBagain

Very close to beach, hot tub and private pool!

As others had mentioned, the house wasn’t pristine (stained carpet, missing blinds and screens), but that was perfect for our group given the price. Super close walk to beach access and the basement game area was awesome for the young and young at heart. Roku TVs were easy to navigate as was the internet. The pool (and attendant who we met briefly) were awesome. If you are bringing your dog, make sure they are up on a good quality flea medication. The front yard had a lot of fleas that the humans were able to manage with bug spray.

Needs much TLC

We had a great time in the OBX but will not be renting this property again home needs much TLC and is just a bit run down, lacking basic maintenance. It could use a deep cleaning and new carpet. There are no cleaning products available in the home to clean up ourselves if we wanted to clean the floors. Sinks and tub/showers were clean and usable.

Salvo 2022

Game On was a very nice beach house that is pet friendly. The house was overall a nice house and a good price. The house is a little dated and could use some upgrades such as the carpet , new pool and deck furniture, and some of the sliding glass sores did not open due to rust. The house was clean for the most part. Except I think they forgot to mop the floors and run the vacuum. Other than those few issues it was a lovely time.
