ALWAYS REMEMBER is one of Salvo's best secrets and, with all the amazing renovations completed, it will not remain a secret for long! This ocean front home, located in a quiet neighborhood, has unobstructed ocean views and you are steps away from sand, sun, and lots of fun.
ALWAYS REMEMBER’s expansive decks, hot tub, outdoor shower and charcoal grill are perfect for relaxing and entertaining adding to your dream vacation. Or, using the robust internet speed/wifi, make it a working vacation!
The updated bedrooms on the 2nd floor include two master bedrooms facing the ocean with sliding doors to the deck and hot tub, a queen bedroom and a bunk-room with two full size beds and a narrow twin. The king master features a Keurig, microwave, mini-fridge, a 40-inch TV, and newly renovated bathroom. Walkout the sliding doors onto the deck for the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or soak in the hot tub while relishing in the cool breeze and harmony of the surf. The queen master has a 32-inch TV, Keurig, newly renovated bathroom and sliding doors to the expansive deck. The queen bedroom, with a mermaid theme, has a 32-inch TV with direct access to the hallway bathroom. The bunkroom has a full-sized bunk bed, a narrow twin bed and a 32-inch TV. The queen room and bunk room share a hallway bathroom. Also located on the 2nd floor is a stacked washer and dryer.
The top floor’s oceanfront deck has wide expansive ocean views you will ALWAYS REMEMBER; it is the perfect place to relax and watch the waves, delight at the sunrise/set, and gaze at the stars. The views continue in the open concept living area with vaulted ceilings, half bath, 65-inch TV, beverage station with sink and minifridge, dining for ten and fully stocked kitchen with all new counter tops, cabinets and appliances, Keurig and a breakfast bar that seats five.

Beautiful living area with open space and good lighting. Full kitchen Easy walk to beach. Downsides: lack of working screens for windows, sliding doors need replacing, ditto for hot tub cover. Needs exterminator (cockroach problem last day)

This was the perfect house for a small group of friends. There was so much thought and consideration put into the way it was decorated. Everything felt new and worked perfectly. The view and beach access are 1st rate. I really don’t have anything negative to say. Highly recommend this charming beach house!

The cottage was perfect for our family of 6 adults.The beach is literally 100 yards from the cottage.The hot tub was perfect after a 2 hour drive!Waves Deli and Dollar General are right down NC12 and they have everything you need.Plenty of towns to visit within a 30 minute drive.

Fantastic

Ocean-front property with semi-private acces. Family oriented location. The house is clean and the kitchen is well stocked, which made this home away from home much more comfortable. Easy beach access made it that much more enjoyable because we would go out for a bit, come back to the house for meals and naps, then head back to the beach. We sat on the upper deck every morning for a front row experience to watch the sun rise, feeling the breeze and listening to the waves. So relaxing. The closest grocery store is about a 30 minite drive, so be sure to plan ahead. I rented linens and bath sets from a company that was recommended. That was a nice option and was well worth the small fee. Brooke, the owner, made sure to help us prepare for all of this with her pre-arrival comminication. And she was quickly responsive to any messages and questions I had prior to and during our stay. 10/10 recommend this property. Will definitely stay again!

Peaceful ocean getaway with our pups!

We absolutely loved this property! Our group was two families, 4 adults, 17 year old, 8 year old (birthday boy!), and 7 year old. The house is adorable, very clean and amazing open concept living room/kitchen area with a large table that could seat everyone and more! Very well stocked kitchen, keurig machine/coffee bar/separate drink fridge area.The beach is a very short walk over the sand dune- led directly off the back deck straight to the path. Even in prime beach season, it wasn’t crowded with plenty of room to spread out and have your own separate area.The gates on every deck level and inside the house was perfect for our two dogs that traveled with us. Hot tub in perfect working condition.Lower level shower/hosing off area was perfect to help get rid of the sand after our beach days.After searching many properties I’m thrilled to have booked this one. Brooke was so sweet and helpful with checking in.We can’t wait to go back and would definitely rent this house again.

Perfect Escape with a Private-Feel Beach & Great Local Vibes

We had an amazing stay in Rodanthe—this spot truly felt like our own private beach getaway. The location was ideal: peaceful, uncrowded, and just steps from the ocean. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after beach days, and our dog had the time of his life—very pet-friendly with plenty of space to roam.The house was well-appointed with great amenities, and Waterman’s Grill quickly became a favorite—so much so we went back a second night for the laid-back vibe and great food.Heads-up: make sure to read the welcome guide and bring all your own consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, etc. aren’t included). Also, a quick tip for dog owners—there are some rough patches with burrs on the path to the beach.We’d absolutely come back!

Great Cozy Get Away!

We loved our stay at this property! It was exactly as advertised on this listing. The neighborhood is very quiet. We enjoyed each morning and evening on the top deck listening to the ocean, watching the sunrise, and looking at the stars. If you are someone who likes to travel with your dog, this property is great! Each deck has a gate, and they even have a built in gate at the top of the stairs inside the home which was awesome. The town this property is in is very quiet and low key, which we loved and prefer. The more populated areas (food/attractions/stores) were just a 20-30 minute scenic drive in either direction. We would definitely stay here again!

Worth it

First time on OBX. Not first time booking through VRBO or a vacation rental site. That being said, this place met and exceeded all our needs. Check in-easier than most hotels. Not a duplex/triplex which actually was a want for us, so nice not having others on the same property. Pictures do not do justice for this place. Cleanliness was as expected, spotless. Amenities-a bathroom for every room?! Say less. And half bath up top was great. Even though we stayed in the off season (partially on purpose) The beach access was perfect. If you want a place in OBX, just you and the fam or friends, set up like a vacation home, great communication from owner, there is no looking further.

Highly Recommend!

We loved this beach house. The owners were fantastic to work with we had great communication. This was the first vacation that we brought our dog, and the house was perfect for it. So many nice little touches that made our stay with our pup easier. Plenty of dog dishes and water bowls. We loved the easy access to the beach, the convenience to the shops nearby, and especially loved the jacuzzi! The house was nice and clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this house and we will be staying here again!

This house was perfect for a small group of friends for a long weekend. The host communication was exceptional. The location, hot tub, and beach access were great. There’s only one thing that could be better about this house, More common spaces besides the spacious top floor. Although this didn’t affect our stay!

Great stay, great location

The house worked really well for us, 3 friends traveling together. The kitchen is really well stocked. You do need to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels etc. AND you need to either rent or bring your own sheets and towels. I would stay again.

We love the location and the fact that the house is dog friendly. There's even a water station in the kitchen for the dogs! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking. Nice decks with plenty of furniture. Outdoor shower is great.
