We were prepared for the stairs up to the second floor so considered it as training! «I think the place is great. It just neds a few slight updates. Privacy window/curtains in living room, moss to be cleaned in garden and mould and mildew in bathroom. I know I being rather picky, but it such a great place those things just let it down. I would definitely stay again»

«My and my husband along with our pooch poppy had a lovely weekend away for our first wedding anniversary. Beach is a 5 min walk away and was lovely to walk along each day. We walked to Redcar along the sea front one day which was 4.5miles and a lovely day to do it. Accommodation was fab and a lovely place to stay. Would highly recommend!»

«We took the dog for 3 nights and absolutely loved the apartment. Ground floor so not too tricky to keep taking the dog out for business too. Super location 5 mins to the beach down plenty of steps and there are loads of dog friendly cafes/bars etc within a really short walking distance. The information sent through have so much good information about beaches/food/bars to go to with loads of cool dog friendly places too all over the coast which were super helpful. «The apartment is in a great location - really close to the beach. However there is a pub at the end of the road which meant it was quite noisy at night. Good size rooms/layout, the bathroom and kitchen are in good condition. In the kitchen it would be useful to have a proper draining board for washing up and a few more bowls/glasses/mugs. «Saltburn is the perfect simple & traditional family seaside resort with a glorious beach. The apartment is perfect & has a view to die for. Modern & clean with everything you need. The only drawback were the stairs - six flights can be an issue but worth it if you’re able to manage them.»

«Nice property in a central location, close to the beach and promenade, as well as local restaurants and bars. Good base for exploring the local area, close to Staithes, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. Flat was spacious and clean, having everything you would need for a short break. Only grumble was strict check-in/out policy, not being able to access entry until 4pm, and early check-out by 10am.»

«A very low futon, that was filthy. Impossible to sit on. No basic facilities, wardrobe or space for clothes, , no coat hangers or drawers for clothes. No soap or shampoo, no dishcloths or tea towels or kitchen roll. Although advertised no microwave, and no dishwasher. The bed was very low to floor. «The reason for three star rating is not the actual apartment but the communal area of the apartment, it looks really run down and dirty and smelt of smoke. We were really apprehensive upon entering but it does look like the photos on line. We could however smell the smoke so bought some candles to alleviate the smell. Very modern decor, great shower and very comfy bed. Sort out the communal area and it would be so much nicer!»

«Directions were good to property and the flat was spotless, beds comfortable and nice sitting area. Lacked basic utensils but all utilities in working order and lovely shower. Had not been made aware that the road was so busy so noisier than expected. Locals lovely, gave us hints of where to go and directions to the best dog walks.»

«Car parking was an issue all week...despite suposedly having a spot in the car park , the spot was more often than not taken by someone else. The flat is noisy...you can hear neighbours walking about and taps being turned on/ off. The shower had a screw fitted unstead of a handle. The bath overflow wasn't connected to anything and kept falling out. Some basics like teapot are not provided. I wouldn't recommend this apartment. However, the village & beach are lovely.»

«Staithes is mine and my partner's favourite place in the UK. We have stayed in Staithes a few times now and I can honestly say I would recommend this cottage to anyone. The location is perfect with a bit of a sea view from the bedroom window. The cottage has a lovely cosy feel to it, beds are really comfy and has everything you need for a short/ long stay.
