«The host was not around when we arrived even though we told her we would be arriving early. The grounds were run down and when we tried to contact her there was no wifi or cell coverage at that remote location. Because of poor communication and the run down appearance of the place we decided to stay elsewhere.»

«We stayed for 3 nights at the dark horse. Brittany was quick to reply to any questions I had. The beds were very comfortable. The suite was spacious. The shower has a gap at the bottom so at times the bath mat would get saturatrd causing my feet and floor to be wet. There was an extra bath mat to use so it was no big deal.Overall very good place to stay. We enjoyed our time and would come back again.»

Absolutely no complaints except that we found the main bed, the really high one, very soft. Too soft for us but may be okay for others. My only critique is that while the couch is technically a pull out that can accommodate another two people, it is not worth sleeping on, as is. "10/10 Stay! The stay at Quarrystone House was absolutely wonderful. The ladies working there were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was spotless and very well maintained, which made the experience even more comfortable. The view was absolutely stunning, and we especially loved the friendly goats around the property—they added such a charming and unique touch to our stay.
