The lobby smelled amazing at the Jordan landing location. They have a a scent diffuser and most delicious holiday-like smell filled the building. (I've stayed at the West valley location and it smelled awful and the bedding had stains. Location matters.) My room was clean, but in my three day stay I saw two small cockroaches. One on the kitchenette counter and one on the bathroom floor. Both very alive. That was kind of putting, but overall cleanliness looked great, sheets and bed cover were bright white and crisp with no stains. As far as hotel personnel, the cleaning staff were very friendly, and the counter person in the evenings was a darling. The counter person in the morning seemed less than enthused to be there. Not rude exactly, but the overall feel was like when someone says "good morning" with a stone face. There is no water softener and the water in the valley is very hard, so something to consider for anyone used to the feeling of soft water. They supply shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers in the shower, which is nice. They have a light lemon scent. There is a smaller, but full size refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker, so there is not a community ice machine. I recommend buying a bag of ice, as the water doesn't appear to be filtered. Overall, I've stayed at this same hotel twice now, and will likely do it again, as I have family in town I visit occasionally. Avoid the West valley location by the Maverick Center.
