"I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "

"The cottage has 2 bedrooms and large lounge, diner with a cosy wood burnt fireplace, 2 shower rooms. The owners live above but the walls are thick so there’s no noise to disturb each other. "The property is of a smallish size but clean and tidy the pool is excellent but shared with 2 other villas, the grounds are well kept and it is safe. The villa does require some updating as some of fixings and fittings are starting to look tired and at this price point I would have expected air conditioning and more space. The owner is very friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem. The local area is lovely and providing you do not mind a little drive the beaches are not far"

"My husband and I stayed for 3 weeks just enjoying the sun and the silence. Amazingly hot even in September!! The villa is certainly peaceful but all is on hand nearby for everyday living. The fact there was no WiFi (which is not Alains fault) did cause us problems and we wish we had been warned before we left so we could have compensated. "The area does not feel safe. Although it is on hotels.com, it does not have a 24 hour front desk. The check-in time is 3pm - 7pm. The place does not provide an alternative check-in method unless arranged before hand. We were traveling during the day without connectivity and were not able to receive their email. When we arrived in the evening, we had no way to check-in, and had to book a different hotel in the mid of the night. Afterwards, they refused to refund even we did not stay at the...

"The staff could not have been nicer. The breakfast was also very good. The room we had needs to be gutted and redone. The floors creak no matter where you walk. There are obvious signs that the room had a water leak from the bathroom. There was a piece of carpet that had been cut out and replaced and there were water stains in the carpet near the bathroom."
