The rooms are nice even though the bathrooms are a little dated.
Hotel management need to take on a no nonsense approach for rowdy and drunken guests as my colleague and myself where woken up in the early hours by yelling and banging on doors by these inconsiderate undesirables.
The good points is the staff are wonderful and accomodating and very polite.
The location is excellent being right in the heart of where all the action is and also Sapa train station is right across the road.
The acoustics need to be looked at as the hallways leading to guest rooms are all tiled and there is a lot of noise when other guests are coming and leaving their room.
The buffet breakfast is excellent and plenty of choice.
There is also a 24 hr gym that is well equiped.
The skybar is excellent for a meal or a quiet drink and has a wonderful view out to the square and mountains.
