«A beautifully decorated house, extremely clean and well appointed with tea, coffe and biscuits in rooms. Breakfast is outstanding with local produce and home made muesli and fruit salad, plus award winning marmalade made by Giles. Plenty of parking and a short walk to the centre of town. Andrea is cheerful, efficient and caring at breakfast time»

«The room was filled with furniture, the majority of them could be taken out»

«An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions.»

«The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. «Hotell midt i Ambleside. Spa-avdelingen er meget bra. Ellers god atmosfære, meget god service og flott frokost med både buffet og varme retter. Rommet vi fikk var komfortabelt, men slitent, og det sto ikke i stil med resten av hotellet. »

«Rothay Manor was a beautiful and idyllic setting for our Lake District journey. The grounds, rooms, food and spaces were absolutely gorgeous, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. 10/10 can't wait to return!»

«Room was comfortable especially the bed and plenty of storage close to local shops and buses. Very nice thanks you x»

«Lovely place but one woman Catrina was amazing as she was left to do everything, check us in , run the pub and restaurant. The room was not very clean. I am handicap and it was hard to get around. »

«Lovely flat in an excellent location.»

«Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay. The ...

«Pros - good location. Short walk into town. Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival. Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish. Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space.»

«Well appointed apartment in a great location. Close to town, with a view.»
