«Clean and comfy hotel very close to the Cape Town terminal. Friendly and informative staff. Free 2 minute ride with the shuttle bus (to and from) every 30 min. Continental breakfast served from 04:00! in the morning, full breakfast (omelette etc) from 06:00. Good environmental effort to save water, recycle plastic etc 👍»

«Stayed at the Simon's Town Quayside Hotel for 4 nights in August 2015. Had a room with balcony and sea-view. This hotel has a very nice location next to the quay were most of the local boat trips (whale watching, False Island, Cape Point cruises, pelagic birding) depart. Although my pelagic birding trip was cancelled due to windy condition, I had a pleasant stay in Simonstown. I recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly and the service excellent.»

«We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice.
Dinner was fantastic
My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave.

«The hotel is nice, but a bit far from everything else. Walking to the city center is about 1 hour. Apart from that everything was fine - nice rooms and good breakfast.»
