I would go back to Kansas to stay at The Lodge again! The room was fantastic with enough space for everyone. They had a tie out for our dogs to let energy out. The breakfast was delicious and had everything you could think of! The staff was amazing as well.

They are very accomodative at checking in at all hours (we can never seem to calculate the time zone shift correctly). Their breakfast buffet is excellent... Did notice we lacked some blankets in the room and was a cold night (60 mph winds, etc); but this was never a problem during prior stays.

Nice place and Location. But the rooms are run down and used. Needs to be updated. Smells like it was used for hunting mostly with dogs in the room.

If you give a mouse a cookie.
This was a HORRIBLE experience. At first glance I thought this would be an okay place to stay. Come middle of the night I kept hearing noises but was unsure where it was coming from. Around 6am I finally figured it out. I saw a mouse inside my grocery bag full of snacks. After that I was able to find mouse droppings in the drawers and under the sink. I brought it up with management and at first was given “I’m sorry” as a response. After a phone call to the manager I was VERY rudely given a $15 refund with the manager herself attacking me. DO NOT STAY HERE

This is a well-kept older property. Comfortable rooms, clean and well restored. Convenient to the highway and a reasonable dog fee. The breakfast here is one of the best, with actual homemade food, a welcome change from the big national chains

Have stayed here before; can rely on them for "reliable" service, amenities as advertised, reasonable pricing. They even did check-in at 2 AM (due to time zone change); don't want to make it sound "too good" (we need their available rooms, time to time...). Did I mention their "real" free breakfast buffet and dining area?

The staff here was amazingly friendly. The property was clean, and the rooms were cute. My two teen daughters fell in love with the place when we walked in the room. We loved the homey touches like the quilts and a couple little notes around the room. The homemade cinnamon rolls and egg casserole at breakfast were delicious!

Convenient stopping place
We were on a cross country trip. The Lodge was well priced, clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant.

When we first walked in our room i loved it. It was cozy lioking with quilts on bed and very clean. We were in town for a charity motorcycle ride and had been riding in 110 fegree weather all day. The problem occurred at about 3am, inwoke up to use the restroom not feeling well because I got overheated during the ride and that is when we found the toilet did not work at all! The office was closed main building locked up and there was no place to use the bathroom. All night long i had to fill the trashcan up with water and poor it in the toilet to flush it. Finallu at 6am the main office opened and i was able to use the bathroom there. When i told the nice lady at the font desk the issue said said she was sorry and would write the room down to have it checked and that was the end of it. 80.00 for a room with no bathroom is not acceptable.

Staff was friendly and helpful, making late check in easy. Room was very clean. Bedsheets were free of stains, smelled clean and fresh. Carpet had some minor staining but overall appeared clean and vacuumed. Room was free of weird smells. AC unit was nice and cool. Check out was quick and painless. Did not get up in time for breakfast. Great place to stay on our way home from Colorado.

We were welcomed into our room by a large cockroach on our bed! Asked for a refund or to be moved into a different building. Owner refunded our money. Yuck!!!

We needed a place to stay on our cross-country trip and this hotel was conveniently located. We were pleasantly surprised with what they had to offer. The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were very clean with comfortable beds, and there was an excellent breakfast!

Such a nice warm welcome. Quick check in. Friendly staff. Nice pool & great grassy areas to walk the dog in. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing fresh cinnamon rolls , eggs , sausage, biscuits & gravy. Been on the road for 3 days . Best place we found to stay. Would definitely recommend

Exactly what we were looking for

Cheap but bring your own pillow and sheets
Just wanted a place to sleep for the night... this place kinda gross, hair in the bathroom, hair in the drawers, woke up with bites on my legs and ankles, don't think it was bed bugs but definitely something in the room. I book this on the road through the hotels.com app using rewards but The Lodge charged me at the front counter and said they don't do that. I paid cus we wanted to sleep the night and get back on the road in the morning. Staff was very, very nice!

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good, with the exception of the cinnamon rolls which were great. The room was clean and nicely decorated, the only issue was the bathroom ventilation fan was not working. We would stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at this motel. It is very quaint and super affordable. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast was all homemade! We made it our stopover between Tulsa and Colorado Springs. It did not disappoint and was much nicer than any big-name chain hotel and at half the price! Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay for a quick stop over
We checked in at 2:30 on the morning just stopping through. Driving up we didn’t know what to expect. Honestly that was the only part that was a negative to me. It really gives the impression of a cheap motel. But the man who checked us in was so kind and so helpful. I had smashed my finger and asked for a bandaid he not only got me one but brought neosporine as well. He even upgraded us when I asked for a cot for my son to sleep on. The room smelled musty but just to sleep for a few hours that was fine. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff really nice.

Nice locally owned motel
Locally owned. Right off main road. Very friendly. Keys are real keys to outside doors. Baiscally had adjoining rooms. One with king size bed, one with queen and sofa pull out bed. Comfortable for our 5. Clean, except for some food left in fridge. Breakfast was awesome! Real eggs. Biscuits and sausage gravy, waffles, and much more. Would definitely stay again!
