«Room was clean and comfortable Was booked into a handicap accessible room (not requested) which had no chair or sofa in the room. Was informed that was standard which I found to be unusual. Staff was friendly most especially the valet who made great restaurant recommendations. Thanks »

«I gave this a 3 because of the house keeping. Each day we had to ask the front desk for towels after asking the housekeepers to provide fresh towels. Upon check out, the receptionist continued her conversation with her co-worker. I had to ask for the receipt and she never asked me if I enjoyed my stay or for my return business. I usually stay at Hilton hotels because I have never encountered this before.»

«Repairs were needed on entrance, bathroom, and sliding glass doors. Toilet did not work properly, we were not booked in a handicap room as our reservation specified. Maintenance was not done. The 1st room that we were given after pointing out we needed handicap accessable was not acceptable due to shrubbery grown up so tall the beach was not visible. Why pay for ocean front if you can't even see it. We were moved to a second room that had the above problems.»

«Need to check each room to make sure that everything is in running order we had a room that the shower ran hot water only no cold water ran in shower had to be moved to another room then that room the coffee maker did not work had to go get another one. Other than that beds were clean so was the room staff was very nice and helpful.»

Pull out couch was opened with mattress in half and bottom sheet along with it. Top sheet was in a heap on the night stand. Trash can in kitchen “suite” was on its side. «Expedia gives this an 8.6 but is extremely deceptive about this stay. First, I received a call from the owners prior to check in asking what time specifically I would be checking in. They clearly don't stay in the office unless needed. As soon as I arrived, the owner walked my fiancé and I to our cottage with a very brief tour and then went straight back inside his home which was right next to ours. «I’ll admit I was a bit nervous before arriving, based on some of the negative reviews, but we had a great experience. The property is definitely older so everything isn’t perfect, but the renovations in progress are impressive.
