«Perfect destination for a quiet retreat, which is exactly what we needed. All the little touches and thoughtful extras, make it hard to leave. Only suggestion would be shower setting was difficult and water pressure was low, but hey you are in the country and we totally embraced that. The Sheep and Goat were welcome neighbours. Will be back»

«Apartment was spotlessly clean and has everything you could need. Parking. All services adequate. Gardens well maintained and nice flowers on stairways. Right beside pubs and shops. Easy communication with manager. No problems at all.»

«Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Wochen der Cottage von Rosi. Der Kontakt zu ihr war vor der Anreise schon gut. Wir fanden die Unterkunft auf Anhieb. Auch waren wir gleich begeistert von der Ausstattung. Herrlich rustikal und gemütlich. Der so oft erwähnte Garten ist in der Tat großartig, jeden Tag durchliefen wir ihn mal. Aber auch die vielen Möglichkeiten hier zu sitzen sind toll. Jeden Tag wanderten wir und freuten uns auch wieder auf die Rückkehr in die Gemütlichkeit. Auch die Gespräche mit ...

«Très jolie plage à proximité, et balades sur les rochers de granite. Pas reçu les informations pour l’arrivée mais très bon accueil sur place avec l’aide des voisins. Inconvénients : maison un peu humide et système de paiement de l’électricité avec des pièces de 2€ qui s’éteint rapidement en cours de journée. Bon point de départ pour balades ds le Connemara.»

«Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem gemütlichen und gut ausgestatteten Haus sehr genossen. Insgesamt ist das Haus jedem zu empfehlen, der Ruhe und einen guten Ausgangspunkt für den eher rauen Westen sucht, und längere Anfahrtswege an die Küste nicht scheut. Die Seelage und die Seeblicke sind jedoch einmalig.»

«We absolutely loved the location of this property!! It is isolated, surrounded by the ocean inlets. Be prepared for the narrow roads and the one lane dirt road that brings you out on the island. It is not modern, but we were not looking for modern. We had everything we needed for our 6 day stay and enjoyed it immensely.»

«The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!»

«We loved our stay. Frank and Geraldine Molloy were very lovely hosts. The cottage had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The only thing that was missing was the dryer. There was a washing machine, but not a dryer as listed. The location was perfect. We could visit Galway as well as Connemara Visitor center, and the Kylemore Abby. The cottage was right on the lake, so the morning views were breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who likes a peaceful retreat.»
