«Not sure why this place has such a high rating. Don't get me wrong, the property is very nice amd historic and the gardens are well kept. However the main functions that the hotel should provide are more of a 6/10 for me. The bed was incredibly hard and V-shaped in the middle. Maybe the bed is 500 years old too? «The breakfast was quite varied, ample selection and very tasty. Coffee and juice was fresh. Service was also good. We had dinner there one night and it was also very good and a solid wine selection. The room was well appointed. The bed was comfortable and linens fresh and cotton. The 2nd floor open area has a great view of the Siena towers. And it faces east so it offers an amazing sunrise over the valley. The road to the hotel is a journey all by it's self. Use a good GPS and you'll have ...
