What a place!!
A fantastic place! We loved it every minute of our stay. The pictures don’t give he right impression of how beautiful he place is. The nature, garden and the view were fantastic! Maurizio was a superb host and his hospitality was outstanding!

Flott sted
Fantastisk sted, flotte omgivelser og en superhyggelig vert. Eneste minus er at det ikke er en restaurant på hotellet, kun servering av frokost. Nærme Roma (kun 15 min med bil til Anagnina Metro) og mye å se i området rundt. Bil anbefales.

Beste Agriturismo vi har bodd på - Takk Maurizio..
Vi bodde her i 4 dager. Pent område blant vinmarker og landbruk og vidstrakt flott utsikt. Rett i utkanten av Grottaferrata ( ca 25 km syd for Roma ). Veldig fint hageanlegg med deilig svømmebasseng med solsenger til alle gjester. Tennisbane (kunstgress m/sand, greit spillbar, men kunne vært holdt i noe bedre stand). Opprinnelig en stor familievilla ombygd til Agriturismo og har 9 rom. Verten Maurizio er den mest elskverdige og servicevennlige person vi noen gang har møtt på våre turer. Frokost meget bra. Hotellet tilbyr ikke middag, men Maurizio anbefaler flere gode nærliggende (10-15 min. gange) hyggelige restauranter med god mat. Vi hadde leiebil og Maurizio la opp fine kjøreturen med lokalt kart til de nærmeste byene, anbefales. Gratis parkering på hotellet. Tok dagstur til Roma med toget. Stasjonen har gratis innfartsparkering i garasjeanlegg. Veldig greit. Vi anbefaler at du bor noen dager på Tenuta Cusmano for å få med deg stemningen dette stedet fortjener.

Idyllisk perle
Nydelig rom med fantastisk terrasse med nydelig utsikt. Flott bassengområde. Stor nydelig hage med roser og urter omgitt av vingårder og olivenlunder. Kort reise inn til Roma. Bør ha leiebil for å komme seg rundt til omliggende småbyer og metro stasjon til Roma. Svært behjelpelig personale - god og varm personlig oppfølging. Kan anbefales på det sterkeste for par og voksne.

Deilig avslappende vingårdshotell utenfor Roma
På dette hotellet finner du og din familie roen. Barna kan bade i et deilig basseng og du kan klaske tennis med fruen om du ønsker. Maurizio er en ypperlig vert med karma som sprer glede! I Grottoferatta, bare 5 minutter unna med bil, finner du mange klassiske italienske restauranter.

Sense of luxury
Lounging by the pool in such a beautiful location gave a real sense of luxury. We had a spacious flat with great views. The kids loved it - especially the pancakes w nutella for breakfast. Many thanks to Maurizio for warm welcome and hospitality!

Et svært sjarmerende feriested med fantastisk beliggenhet hvor vi bodde i 8 døgn. Det ligger i en deilig have med en flott utsikt, stille og rolig og med kort vei til Roma og ikke minst hyggelige små byer i Castelli Romani. Værelsene trenger oppussing, men er rene og pene (daglig renhold). Frokosten er god, det er hva man trenger til en god start på dagen. Værten Maurizio er svært serviceminded og gjør absolutt alt for at man skal ha et godt opphold. Han forteller gjerne om Italia og kommer med turforslag. Dette er et godt alternativ til å bo inne i Roma (som vi har prøvd flere ganger tidligere), men leiebil anbefales.

Et ukjent paradis
Vi hadde tenkt å ha Tenuta Cusmano som base for å reise inn til Roma. Denne planen ble brått endret da vi forstod hvilket paradis vi var havnet i. Vi fikk rom med en kjempestor terasse med nydelig utsikt over vinmarker, sypresser og små byer - om kvelden så vi lysene fra Roma. Hotellets hage var en nytelse for øyet og bassengets beliggenhet uovertruffen.Men best av alt var verten, Mauritzio, som gjorde alt han kunne for at vi skulle ha det godt og oppleve Italia på sitt beste.

Tenuta Cusmano was a highlight in our 11 day trip to Italy. It's an easy drive from the Rome Ciampino airport. Grottaferrata is a charming town, just a few short minutes from Tenuta Cusmano. We took a taxi to the neighboring town of Frascati everyday to catch the train into metropolitan Rome. The train was easy to navigate, and allowed us to leave our car at Tenuta Cusmano every day, so as to avoid the ZTLs. We stayed three nights. The room had a lovely porch and view of the rolling hills. The accommodations were comfortable. The pool was amazing! But most of all, the owner Mauricio was gracious, funny, kind, and attentive. He made our stay feel personal. He entertained us with stories. It was a truly lovely experience, and we would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay out of the hubbub of the busy crowded city, but still close enough to travel easily into town.

The best part of our trip to Rome was staying at the beautiful Tenuta Cusmano Villa Resort! Maurizio is the best host there is! we have never met someone so personable, charismatic and hospitable like Maurizio! He made us feel welcomed and like we could go to him for anything without hesitation. Aside from the excellent service, the Villa is beautiful. It has panoramic views of Rome without the city noise, very peaceful. The Sunsets here are breathtaking! Also fresh breakfast every morning is something we enjoyed at the villa. I recommend Tenuta Cusmano, You will enjoy your stay here!

The check in was superb. The owner was warm and friendly and had suggestions for visiting the area- he even provided the maps to get to locations we could visit. The setting of this property is glorious. An incredible view of the valley and you can see the city of Rome, including the Vatican. It was a wonderful stay overall.

Beautiful place to relax!
First of all, the view of the country side from the villa is amazing. The pool is stunning. The host is such a good man and bends over backwards for the guests. He coordinated a wine tasting tour in a near by town. The tour was worth every penny. My daughter loved the breakfast. They basically cook for you and they greet you with homemade croissants. The bathroom in our room was huge! The only thing to know is that there is not a restaurant in the property and you do have to walk about .6 miles to the nearest restaurant and just under a mile to the center of Grottaferata to find the market and other restaurants. We did not have a car and walked to dinner and to the market. One night we had pizza delivered. But we probably would have explored more if we had a car. The residents there don’t speak English as well as in Rome. However we found them to be lovely and helpful. We don’t speak Italian and we made it work and were able to communicate. We spent 8 days in Rome and 4 here. We wished we would have spent more time here. It is a serene place to relax, recharge and enjoy the natural beauty of the Italian country side. If you want to relax and enjoy a beautiful non pretentious space, this is it! Mauricio makes you feel like you are part of the family.

Little paradise
It was absolutely gorgeous, we spent 5 days at Maurizio's place : great house, clean, quiet, comfortable beds, beautiful garden and swimming-pool. It was walking distance from restaurant and the town. All the comments are true, this is a perfect place to rest and take some time for you. We can't wait to come back ! Grazie per tutto !

This is a unique resort located in a beautiful area. The facilities could use a facelift but the staff was excellent. Maurizio was attentive to our every need with maps of the area, suggestions for restaurants and touring, and responding to any request! It was a unique experience!

Hervorragende Location und Sevice
Wir können diesen Aufenthaltsort in der Nähe von Rom nur weiterempfehlen. Mauricio macht einen klasse Job - sowohl vor als auch während des Aufenthalts. Haben uns sofort sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Ein sehr schönes Zimmer in einem erstklassigen Ressort mit Pool. Sehr gute Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten befinden sich bereits in nächster Nähe sowie der näheren Umgebung. Bahnanbindung für eine Fahrt direkt ins Zentrum Roms ist in wenigen Kilometern vorhanden. Wir möchten uns bei Mauricio und Team für den sehr schönen Urlaub bedanken. Gerne wieder!!

Skip the Crowds and Treat Yourself
Three nights in this country villa couldn’t have been more enjoyable. The property and surroundings are lovely, and our host had a special gift of making us feel like we were special guests and returning home at the same time. Easy access by car or train to Rome. Highly highly recommend it....can’t wait for a return trip.

A perfect stop over
Superb views and gardens. The warmest and most personal welcome from the lovely Maurizio. We were made to feel very welcome and would be back again in a heartbeat. What a lovely place to while away a few days resting and soaking in the views by the pool! Great restaurants and a lively Italian town within walking distance :)

A romantic and quiet hotel with a perfect view. Maurizio, the manager is the nicest person ever, he insure that every guest is taken care of. The only down side is that you need a car all the time.

A beautiful hilltop Villa, southeast of Rome.
A beautiful setting among the hills southeast of Rome that offered peace and quiet after spending 3 non-stop days in Rome center viewing the principle historical sites. The Villa is extremely well managed by Maurizio, son of the owner, who can't do enough to make sure that all questions are answered and every requirement of guests are met to utmost satisfaction. Maurizio is very friendly, cordial and always very helpful in suggesting restaurants, places to see or things to do, in the immediate area of the Villa. He's always eager to assist with copies of maps, detailing the travel routes. An example of Maurizio's "going the extra mile" for his guests occurred while we were there. We had scheduled a tour with a guide at a location about 15 miles from the Villa. When it came time for us to leave the Villa in order to meet the guide at the specified time, the access road out of the Villa area was closed due to a "running event" that shut down car traffic for about 2 hours. But our tour guide could not wait until the run was over, due to another tour she had booked later in the day. Maurizio said no problem, just follow him in his car and he'll show another way out of the hills and down to the main access road that ringed Rome. And that's what he did, leaving his Villa for about 20 minutes and had us follow him in a circuitous route around the "run" that enabled us to get to the tour and meet our guide on time. Maurizio came to our rescue and showed his helpful nature!

Served it's purpose so I recommend, subject to €€€
It's a fine place to stay to escape the crowds and madness of something closer to the city. Owner is hugely accommodating and eager to satisfy. Room is nicely furnished and good size just feels a little bit tired in places when you look beyond the surface. (broken locks, faulty TV, missing drawer knobs, loose bathroom fittings) - similar story with pool area, nice size just a bit shabby with crumbling tiles, ageing loungers and unkept gardens. Just TLC stuff but something I expect when paying these higher prices. Local area is fine but you'll need to drive/taxi to a decent restaurant unless you fancy the hike uphill ...and accompanying sweat. Frascati is worth the taxi fare albeit insanely busy at the weekend.

Great hotel - amazing location
A wonderful hotel set in amazing countryside. The owner is great, taking time and effort to suggest trips out and recommend places to eat. The rooms are large and well equipped and the pool amazing.

A wonderful stay, in a cosy, and very service-minded agriturismo. The children loved it, and they were very kind to make special pancakes for them. Beautiful surroundings - you could see the dome of St. Peter from our terasse, and the pool area had beautiful views of the small villages in the area. Very spacious rooms. We had a wonderful stay!

What A View From Balcony!
My stay at Tenuta Cusmano Villa Resort was a wonderful experience! Enjoyed every minute of it. The location is breathtaking. It's a wonderful place to just relax. The staff is great, can't thank Maurizio enough, always there to accommodate you and always with a smile. Giulia is also great. Also can't forget the chef, Djenaba, who prepares our wonderful breakfasts every morning D E L I C I O U S !!!
