Et kjempefint hotell rett ved St.peter katedralen
Et fantastisk fint hotell rett ved St. Peter katedralen! Godt renhold og superfine rom! Vi reiste i november, så var litt kjølig om morgenen på terrassen, men fantastisk med et glimt bort til domen! Eneste negative jeg kan komme på er at hotellet ligger en 15-20 min gange fra nærmeste Metro/T-bane. Men det går buss fra/til Termini med holdeplass rett i nærheten (linje 64). Mulig også å ta tog fra lokal endestasjon som ligger 5 min gange unna til flyplassen (krever togbytte). Vi tok oftest beina fatt og opplevde byen til fots… Betjeningen sier det «ikke er mulig» å gå til Colloseum. Vi motbeviste det temmelig kjapt, og opplevde Roma fra gateplan samtidig. Anbefalt!!

Disappointing
No room upgrade and no explanation to the reason why. Bottle of water only upon arrival. Beds were ok and during our week long stay beds were made up with clean linen twice and towels were changed. Had to inquire in reception to get bodylotion and vanity set. Breakfast was nothing to look forward to. Most of the staff were grumpy and treated guest rough and unfriendly, except for two to three of them who actually smiled and said buon giorno. Dry bread, tasteless yellow cheese, horrible coffee and tea. For 600 Euros per night Friday, saturday and Sunday and 300 Euros per night rest of the week this is far, far from good enough.

Fint hotel i et rolig område hvis man vil bo i nærheten av Vatikanstaten. Servicen var ikke på topp og ville derfor vurdert et annet hotell neste gang.

Leider gibt es zu dieser Unterkunft mehr Negatives als Positives zu berichten. Positiv war auf jeden Fall die Lage des Hotels, die für unsere Bedürfnisse sehr gut passte. Sehr nahe am Petersdom, 20 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum oder mit dem Roller in 5-7 Minuten. Die Sauberkeit hat bis auf Ausnahmen beim Frühstücksbuffet auch gepasst. Negativ: die Lüftung im Zimmer war sehr laut. Nach 3 Tagen und mehrmaligem Bitten, hat das Personal es erst geschafft die Lüftung komplett abzudrehen. Das Personal gab uns bei Ankunft eine Falsche Info, was dazu führte, dass wir an einem Tag kein Frühstück mehr bekommen haben. Das war eine absolute Frechheit! Lt. Info UND auch lt. der im Zimmer auffindbaren Unterlagen des Hotel ist das Frühstücksbuffet bis 10:30, unter der Woche scheint es aber nur bis 10:00 zu gehen. Als Antwort bekamen wir, wir hätte ja im Aufzug nachlesen können! Entschuldigung bitte? a) Ihr Personal gab uns die Auskunft bis 10:30! b) Ihre Infos die im Zimmer aufliegen sagen bis 10:30! c) Im Aufzug ist KEINE Info zum Frühstück bzw. den Frühstückszeiten! d) Wieso sollte ich nochmals irgendwo etwas nachlesen, was ich bereits auf meinem Zimmer nachgelesen habe UND mir ihr Personal gesagt hat!?! Weiters ist die Sauberkeit beim Frühstücksbuffet zu bemängeln, es waren immer schmutzige Teller dabei. Ich habe das Frühstück dazu gebucht, weil einige Bewertungen das gute Frühstück hervorgehoben haben. Das kann ich nur in aller Stärke dementieren. Das Frühstück war alles andere als gu

Found this gem by researching the internet and online reviews beforehand. It did not disappoint! The comfortable rooms at the Michelangelo are outfitted with high quality, modern decor and furnishings, and are immaculately clean and well-lit. The bathroom with full bath and spa-like showerhead was also outfitted with fragrant, upscale beauty amenities and luxurious robes. It was indeed the perfect retreat to go "home" to each evening after trekking the entire city on foot for five full days. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience here. We were traveling with our two kids, and the room set up was great. We had a main entrance and then two separate entrances to two separate rooms. Was great for the kids to be able to watch movies and hang out without being too noisy. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We were able to store our luggage the day we left at the hotel so that we could continue exploring the vatican area. Very nice location.

Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet, wir konnten alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, bei Kleinigkeiten wie dem Haartrockner ist das leider nicht der Fall. In diesem waren lauter Fusseln innen, als hätte man diesen noch nie gereinigt. Das Personal ist freundlich, allerdings wird man beim Betreten des Hotels außer bei der Ankunft am ersten Tag nicht mehr beachtet, egal wie deutlich man selbst grüßt. Das Frühstück ist ok, man wundert sich, warum an Äpfeln noch die Aufkleber dran sind. Alles in allem war es dennoch ein schöner Aufenthalt. Bei 4 Sternen sollten aber auch die Kleinigkeiten stimmen.

I wouldn't choose this hotel again due to its outdated facilities and inconsistent Wi-Fi. Additionally, the front desk staff's behavior, like loudly announcing my room number and floor several times to a lobby full of people at check in after I had informed the agent that I was there alone, made me feel unsafe. Service at the bar was lacking, with no bartender present and delays in getting served. When I needed to check out and settle my bill, requesting a small favor of a slightly late check-out, I was met with resistance over asking for just 1 hour of late check out. The rude woman first told me no, then told me she would do it but if I went over she was going to charge me. Overall, I cannot recommend staying here.

However, we would like to point out that the privacy and security of our customers is always taken into very high consideration. All our staff, also following national laws, are trained on the procedures to follow. In this case, probably due to the crowding of the hall, our guest agent may have mistakenly used a higher tone of voice. Regarding the late departure, we are sorry if our employee could not explain clearly, or if there was a misunderstanding. Guests in our hotel arrive mainly early in the morning. Hotel is located very close to St. Peter’s Square. (10min walk) It’s located on a one way quite street, so in the evening there is not a lot of noise. Great staff! Extremely helpful. Lobby is nice with a bar and restaurant. Great breakfast options. Ordered room service 1 evening and it was good. House keeping was very good.

Excellent hotel. We’ve stayed here 5 years ago and come back for another family celebration. Nothing has changed over the years and the hotel kept up his high standards. It’s within walking distance to the Vatican, very clean and cozy, offering a delicious breakfast and the employees are amazing. It was clean, great breakfast buffet, bed was comfortable and we had a nice surprise of wine and a bottle of Italian olive oil waiting in our room. We just walked from here to the Vatican. And everything else we took a taxi around Rome. And you can just tell them you need an airport transportation when you leave. And they also tell you how much is the ride. It was a 2 night stay but it did it’s purpose for us.

This was a great stay. However I left some medicine in the room and I’m having a hard time now getting them to respond to my request to mail them to me. Which they said they would do, this is disappointing.

Brilliant hotel, location and service from staff
An absolutely lovely hotel with great staff, well fitted rooms and exceptional location for Vatican City. Staff were friendly, attentive and always on hand. Rooms very nicely appointed with expected amenities and the whole hotel was spotless. Ate in the restaurant one one night with great menu, tasty food and great service. You couldn’t ask for a better location for exploring Vatican City and wider Rome.

ヴァチカンに近く静かな治安の良さそうなエリアでした。サン・ピエトロ広場まで5分ほど、美術館は広場を横切って（横切れない時もある）反対側まで15−20分ほど歩きますが私はまったく気にならない距離でした。 お部屋は、静かなところをお願いしたいのでエレベーターより離れて裏の路地に面していて、話し声も聞こえず静かに過ごせました。お部屋は広めで、クローゼット、セーフティボックスありです。冷蔵庫はホテル販売用の飲み物が入っていましたが、自分のものも入れることができました。お湯ポットがあったので、お茶など飲めてよかったです。タオルのバーがお湯であたたまるタイプのものでしたがいつも冷たかったので使っていないのかもしれません。洗濯物がもっと早く乾くのでONにならないかな？と思いましたが室内も乾燥しているので、薄いものは朝にはほとんど乾いていました。滞在中のローマは暖かかったので部屋のエアコンは乾燥するので消して寝ていました。 場所的にも、ホテルの大きさ的にも、夜帰ってきても心配なことはなく、すぐ裏にあるPAMというスーパーも21時までオープンしているのでとても便利でした。中心地にくらべてこの辺りのホテルは少し値頃感があると思います。 地下鉄のOttaviaまでは20分くらいありますが、広場を横切るとすこしショートカットになります。 FSのローマ・サンピエトロの駅までは5分ほど。ホテル裏の坂道を上がっていきます。（ホテルを出てヴァチカン方面にいっても駅の入り口あります。坂道回避の方はホテルでて左に行った信号渡って右に進んでください）坂道はスーツケースが一緒だとすこし重いですが、気になる距離ではありません。駅のエレベーターが使えなくてプラットフォームを向こう側に渡るのに階段だったのでそれだけは大変でした。時間に余裕をもって行った方が良いです。Trastevereで乗り換えて、空港まで電車で行きました。乗り換え時もエレベーターが壊れているホームもありました。空港行きは５番線です。（変更になることもあるので注意）サンピエトロ駅の階段下にあった打刻の機械がこわれていたので、電車内で係員にすぐに申告してOKでした。打刻をしないと罰金になるので、ご注意を。 ローマが初めてで、いろんな観光地に歩いていきたいという方は中心地がおすすめだと思いますが、ヴァチカンをメインにして、歩いて街を回りたい方にはこちらのホテルはおすすめです。ホテル近くにテルミニ行きのバス停もあります。 この系列のパリやフィレンツェのホテルも利用したことがあったので、こちらにしましたが私はとても快適で満足でした。
