Rent, pent og fin plassering.
Utrolig bra hotell. Perfekt beliggenhet ved Flaminio, kort gåavstand til spansketrappen, shopping, kafe rett ved hjørnet, metro og buss-stopp 100 m unna. Rent, pent, vennlig begjening. Kunne ikke vært mer fornøyd med både opphold og plassering.

Sjarmerende, billig og greit hotell.
Dro til Roma for Sightseeing, kultur og mat/drikke med kona - hoteller er utmerket til akkurat dette da det er plassert kort avstand fra Popolo og en aktiv handlegate. Det er heller ikke langt til andre severdigheter som Spanske trappene, Pantheon, Trevi fontenen etc til fots. Litt lengre til Colosseum, Palatine og forum. Rommet var helt greit mtp pris, men frokosten var ikke bra. Lite til ingen variasjon i både pålegg, brødvalg og annet - samt at de varme alternativene var av lav kvalitet. Men servicen var upåklagelig! Dette er et hotell der man tilbringer lite til ingen tid utenom leggetid - og passer best for par som er glad i å bruke føttene som transportmiddel.

Hotellet lå fint til, gangavstand til de fleste attraksjonene. Renhold og personalet var helt topp. Eneste minuset var størrelsen på rommene og heiskapasiteten.

Supert hotell som var rent og velholdt. Kort vei til alle severdigheter. Litt små rom og harde madrasser , men du verden for en service på rommet med renhold og etterfyllung av det du trenger.

Hotellet hadde en bra plassering til offentlig transport. Frokosten var veldig god, og mar ble fylt på raskt npr det vsr tomt. Sengene var behagelig å ligge på. Badene ga et spesielt inntrykt ved å være i marmor.

Hyggelig hotell i Roma
Veldig greit hotell i sentralt område. Imøtekommende og serviceinnstilt betjening. Litt kronglete med to heiser for å komme til de øverste etasjene. God frokost. Merk at hotellet ligger akkurat utenfor taxisonen med fastpris til FCO - men fungerer fint å rusle bort til Piazza del Popolo som er rett i nærheten. Gangavstand til flere severdigheter.

Perfect place to stay in Rome.
One of the best Hotels in Roma. We have stayed at River Palace. Hotel. Et av de beste hotellene i Roma. Vi har bodd på River Palace Hotel i 2016. Bodde der igjen i mai 2018. Perfekt sted å bo. Upåklagelig service, herlige senger og sengetøy for ikke å glemme den flotte frokosten. Kommer tilbake.

I wish we could have stayed at this property longer (only stayed 1 night) as it was a wonderful experience! While the room and facilities were very nice, it is the staff that really put this hotel above and beyond. Whether help with directions, best places to eat or even travel logistics to the airport or from the cruise port, they were very helpful and extremely accurate. I wish we could have stayed a little longer but after 10 days of cruising around the Med, it was time to go home. Book here - you will not be disappointed.

This is an older quaint hotel but very clean, has AC, very large hot breakfast (optional), walking distance 15-20 mins to all the main attractions. Five min walk to the shopping district. Many restaurants walking distance. Small room but large bathroom, very nice sheets and towels, and very nice toiletries. Bed is very comfortable. Has a mini bar and snacks but no coffee/tea in the room which is the first time I see this in a 4 star hotel. Would be easy to put a kettle and tea / instant coffee packages. There is an excellent coffee shop / restaurant called Sensorio Coffee Lab about 100 m away (when you exit hotel, go left). This place gets 5 star google reviews. Coffee and chai tea, excellent sandwiches, they do brunch, desserts. It’s a real gem. We would stay at this hotel again only to be able to eat there again. The fire alarm went off for 45 mins at 6am because someone was smoking in their room. Well that got us up moving quickly. The streets of Rome were dead quiet - only 3-4 people at Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. So a blessing in disguise. The hotel has a bar, sitting area with baby grand piano, and a beautiful courtyard. The staff at the hotel were super nice especially Francisco.

Location of the property is perfect. Less than a 5 min walk from the Villa Borghese park (where you can row boats and view the sunset). It's also less than 5 mins from the piazza de popplo. There's loads of shops and restaurants all within walking distance. You can even walk to the colosseum (35 min walk roughly). The metro station is also less than 5 mins away if you don't want to make the slightly longer walks. The staff are really friendly and helped in decorating the room for a birthday. They also gifted us with a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch.

I loved my stay at this hotel and will stay again. The rooms are small but they have everything you need. The rooms are clean, turn down servicex, and staff are all amazing. While I agree that the rooms are rather small, as is the shower enclosure, I tend to expect this in European hotels. However, the facilities were clean and of very high quality in attention to detail. The whole hotel had a very elegant feel and appearance. The staff was very professional, courteous and helpful. It was located within easy walking distance of Trevi fountain, the Pantheon and the Spanish steppes. Amongst all of these sites was the very large and extensive shopping district. This hotel was great for us and I would certainly stay there again if the opportunity arose.

Great Hotel in the center of Rome. Very clean and cordial staff. Walkable to main museums, shopping and metro. Breakfast is not included and the price is a bit high but everything else is wonderful.

This was a very nice hotel, we made a good choice. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It is a small hotel with a luxury feel. Our room was very nice. We wanted a hotel with a Rome flavor to it & The River Palace delivered. We were able to walk to the must see areas. The historic district was a long walk but doable. The hotel is in a good area. The staff booked us tickets , booked transportation helped with printing luggage tags. We would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Rome.

Great location but rooms are very small. Beds are adequate and not pillow top mattresses. Staff was great though. The best part was the location to Square, Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese Park.

As per some previous reviews our Smart rooms are on the small side. These rooms are compact but well equipped with all the items that a four stars hotel guest may need, as complimentary WIFI, complimentary SKY TV (with several channels in English), complimentary amenities, and so on. If is requiered more space we suggest our deluxe rooms which will perfectly fit all needs. We hope to guest you again in the next future.Sincerely,Deputy Manager

The River Palace Hotel is a well-maintained smaller hotel with exceptional staff and services. Daily attention to the room with all the amenities needed for a terrific stay. The traditionally decorated room is carpeted with three sets of drapes. The staff are exceptional with their professional throughness and efficiency. The hot breakfast with a range of options, was a great way to start the day. The smell of the breakfast getting started was evident in our first floor room. The room faced the street but as promised, the area was very quiet by 9pm and we slept well with the room darkening curtains and comfortable bed. We enjoyed the hotel and location, as we could walk to various sites in the city. The comfort and location contributed to an overall wonderful first visit to Rome.

Dear Guest, thanks for sharing your experience and thank you for staying with us!As regarding your note we wish to inform you that the Municipal Administration has approved to change the city tax from Euro 6.00 to Euro 7.50 per person per night starting from October 1st 2023. Children aged 0-10 will be free of charge. The city tax is not included in the room rates and it should be paid directly upon check-out from the guests. This information you can find at the confirmation of the booking.There is as well supplement will be applied for the second or third person in the room not declarated at the moment of the booking.
