The room was lovely and Very clean. I loved the interior as it was both modern and Classic and luxurios. The personel spoke Very Good english. Although the hotel is Very close to the AirPort we only heard about three airplanes within a period of 24 hours. Nice and quite. The only minus for us was that the hotel felt a little isolated. You definetly need a car to Get around. Will Stay here the next time we come to Roma.

Very nice resort
Very nice resort. Breakfast in the building next door to the hotel, good food for breakfast and dinner. Hotel is very quiet. Comfortable bed and room in general. Hotel is perhaps on the higher pricing but has a nice location and quiet and comfortable atmosphere.

Rooms really nice but nothing around it. At all! If you need to stay close to the airport, stay at the airport hilton. Way cheaper and more options in the airport.

The property and rooms were nice. However you are trapped there, unless you want to spend 30 euros each way to the nearest town, which is only a short drive. It’s very inconveniently located unless you have a boat. I had 24 hr to kill and didn’t want to spend it there. I thought I could walk to the town, but it was only highway walking, around 5 k. And the taxis are the most expensive I’ve ever come across. I wouldn’t stay here unless you have boated there

Dear Carly, we are sorry that our hotel was not what you were expecting. We take pride in being a small oasis away from the caos, but close enough to the airport and the main attractions. Taxis to go to Fiumicino city center are usually around 20, but we also offer free bikes rental and a car rental service. We understand if our facility was not what you were looking for, but our location is pretty clear on the website and every map. Perhaps next time you will be able to plan better according to your needs.

Room service charge: 18 euros. They yell this over the phone when you ask to dine room service in room, before even ordering. Then they make sure you will never order again by forgetting half the items in the plate ordered. The hotel is 20 to 25 euro drive to Fiumicino by transfer, taxi or Uber. One way. Only restaurant on site. The place is in the middle of nowhere.

Dear Christine, we are sorry so see such a low score for your stay with us. The room service is 18 euros and the waiter is required to tell you before ordering just in case you do not wish to use this service -which I think is fair. What happened is that you complained about the price to our waiter with heated tones. Also, if something was missing from your room service we apologize, you should have told us immediatly so that we could solve the issue.Apart from that, it seems unfair to use the hotel location as a downpoint for your review. We have not changed the location since you lastly booked, so we can't really do anything about it. If our facility is not what you were looking for, perhaps next time you can plan better depending on your needs to be closer to the city center. We take pride in being a small oasis close to the airport and main attractions, but far away from the caos.

Waited at the airport for 1 hour and 45 minutes for the hotel shuttle. When they arrived to pick us up they would not take accountability and told us that they were there at the time they were scheduled to. Staff did not charge us for the shuttle after we complained. 7am hammering and landscaping right outside our room incessantly and did not stop after we checked out at 11am. Beautiful facility (however everything is seasonal so we did not get a pool or spa for the price we paid). Ordered room service and they waited until they got to the room with half our order stating that they no longer serving the dish we ordered. Did not call to let us know. Would not stay there again as hospitality was garbage and it is very out of the way.

We tried our best to help you catch it and we did not charge you the ride to apologize -even though as I said it was out of our hands because it depends if you are in the correct meeting point/show up in time.Also, the pool is seasonal but the SPA it's open and available and you decided not to use it.About the rest we apologize for any inconvenience that may have occurred.Regards.

Beautiful, peaceful. The one drawback is that the rooms are often up rather steep spiral staircases, so be careful. Also, it means you have to carry your suitcase up. But honestly was such a beautifulstay!

Even though there was no water in the pool, season not open yet, the grounds, the room and the staff were incredible. Very accommodating with planning for early shuttle to the airport. Restaurant was very good as well.

Promised shuttle pickup at airport did not happen. Shuttle did not show. Hotel did not answer phone. We had to get an Uber to the hotel.

We can only book the shuttle TO the airport, as we did for you this morning.The shuttle FROM the airport does not work by booking, so we did not "promise" anything, you just have to show up at the meeting point and wait for the ride at the correct scheduled time. The shuttle driver cannot wait for you and if you miss the ride it’s out of our hands. Also, we did speak to you yesterday and then to the driver who told us they picked up everyone that was at the stop.

Lovely spacious room with balcony overlooking water! Staff very friendly and helpful. Delicious food at restaurants onsite, and free breakfast buffet helped start our day. The Turkish bath and sauna was so relaxing, the perfect ending after a day touring Rome. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay very much!

We were disappointed with our stay at this resort. Our room was small, dated and had an unpleasant smell. We needed a one night stay due to our early flight back to the U.S. and thought this place would provide us with that but the smelly room was stressful. The resort is far away from everywhere and not possible to walk anywhere without having to pay for a taxi. I would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. There is a Hilton hotel in the airport that I think a better choice.

Dear Linh,we are sorry to hear that you are not happy with your experience with us. We have different kind of rooms and suites and the one you chose is one of the smallest (with the exact measurements on the website for anyone to see). Also, the hotel is only 4 years old and is refreshened and renovated annually, so we truly do not understand the "dated" comment. Same goes for our location. We are close to Fiumicino Airport but not so close that we are in that chaotic area, enjoying our little piece of green and quiet. Which, of course, is not something a hotel located at the entrance of the aiport can provide. To anyone their preferences, I guess.

This is a perfectly nice hotel but it is somewhat secluded. They do have a small bar, café and restaurant but if you want to do anything else you need to get in a shuttle or drive for 20 minutes. The food was excellent and they have a nice but limited breakfast included. WE were on the top floor (2 story building) but no elevator.

What a nice surprise is this hotel! We booked to be close to the airport for a early flight next day, and it end up being one of the top parts of our trip! Will come back for sure! The staff it’s very helpful and super nice! Beds are really comfortable and it’s the room over all it’s super clean!

Very nice location, beautiful view and very clean room with a wonderful staff. Only problem were little ants which got into our luggage on night 1. When we brought it to their attention they moved us to another room where we also encountered more ants. We ended up checking out and finding another hotel for night 2

Highly recommend!!!
I have stayed here the last 5-6 years, whenever I have a layover in FCO, and it never disappoints or gets old. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the location is beautiful, quiet and peaceful- just what I want between hectic trips. Breakfast and the restaurant are all I need, delicious, fresh and tasty. Take a walk around the marina or borrow a bike to ride to the lighthouse or into town, either way you will not regret your stay at Porto Romano.

Quick stop in Rome
This is a great hotel close to the airport but far enough away that you don’t feel like you’re staying at the airport. The rooms and bathrooms are very large compared to others in the Rome area. It’s right on the water- and It’s about a 40min taxi ride to Rome (65euro). We highly recommend.
