Spacious appt near Fontana de Trevi
Perfect location just steps from the Trevi Fountain. Dozens of nearby restaurants and gelato shops. High energy and great for people watching. Grocery store a couple of blocks away, and metro access within 750m. Front rooms loud from the crowds, but subsides after 11PM or so.

Spacious apartment, central location
comfortable spacious apartment, well appointed. Close to all major sights, many cafes, bars in the immediate vicinity. Well sound-proofed, we were never disturbed by the noise from the street despite the throngs of people. We really appreciated the air conditioning in every room. It’s in an old building, but has a lift. Quirky Italian bathrooms squeezed into the spaces- would have liked a proper shower over or instead of the spa bath - which was very awkward to step into for the older guests. Quirky Italian switches - not all lights worked but there were enough. Overall elegant and comfortable and spacious enough for this 5 member cross- generation adult family group. Communications with manager very good.

Unbeatable Location
Great home base for a trip to Rome. The apartment was large and clean and as advertised. Being able to arrange airport pickup and drop off was an added plus. Some reviews have said it’s noisy but you are right in the middle of the action so of course it is. That only applies to the front bedroom and ear plugs work wonders. We were there for the heatwave in July 2023 and the air conditioning was wonderful.

Amazing location
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful apartment! It was in the center of everything! We were able to come back after lunch for a quick shower, and then out the door again for dinner. During the heatwave of 108+ definitely appreciate it. Inside the apartment was perfect and very roomy!

Great apartment, great location!
This was a fantastic apartment with a great location, right in the heart of everything. Be sure to understand that with this location comes noise late into the night and early morning, but this was not a poor reflection on the apartment. It just is what it is. One shower had poor water pressure, but other than that it was really great! Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Rome. A stones throw away from Trevi Fountain. Even though it’s in the thick of it all the apartment is very quiet and provides a sanctuary after a day of exploring!

Really old property in great location
The building is very old and a few things in the kitchen didn’t work properly and well as the furniture was quite uncomfortable. The location was great tho and we were able to walk to everything. The owner and manager were very helpful and able to answer all our questions.

Wonderful Flat near the Trevi Fountain
What a terrific flat - right in the middle of everything, 1 block away from the Trevi Fountain. Great Bars (for coffee), Sandwich shops, restaurants (skip the ones right near the flat and hit the ones suggested by the owners that aren't tourist traps). Flat was bright and airy with alot of space. The location is right in the shopping district - which is a plus - but know that you'll just need to close windows facing the street at night as shops and restaurants are open late. Closing the windows worked great (I'm a light sleeper) as I slept thru the night without issue!

The PERFECT place to stay!
A large, generous and beautiful space for our family, with every amenity provided that we needed. Excellent communication and clear prompt assistance with transport. In the heart of the action, steps to the Trevi Fountain, restaurants, gelato, shopping, street performers, etc. We feel sad to leave. 😉

Un appartement idéalement situé, parfait pour 5 personnes avec grande salle de sejour et grande cuisine, joliment décoré. Il faudrait vérifier les machines proposées entre 2 locataires et ameliorer le système des douches mais je crois que c'est en lien avec l'immeuble.

Charming Place
This is a charming place in a great location. We really liked the Bar Fontana di Trevi nearby for coffee and a quick breakfast before we headed out as well as drinks and gelato in the evening. Very good food and friendly service. Our challenges were with the check-in process. We’re used to staying at places with lockboxes and not needing to provide a certain time that we’re going to be there. We were coming from a tour through Umbria so didn’t know when we’d arrive. Also, the checkout time is unusually early and the place is so popular, it’s booked back-to-back so I don’t recommend staying here if you plan to leave later and need a place for your luggage. There’s a luggage storage place a couple of blocks away, but that’s hard with the cobblestones and they charged 7Euros per bag for just the few hours we needed. We ended up negotiating with the hotel next door, which was much easier since it was close. It was a pain though to have to handle during our family’s first trip to Europe.

Great overall stay in a busy Rome neighborhood
This was our first trip to Rome and it was very convenient to be located right in the heart of activity, close to Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps (luxury shopping area), etc. The apartment was nicely decorated with lots of character. The street below the apartment is extremely busy and loud well into the night (and even early in the morning). We kept the shutters closed in the master bedroom (which gets the most noise) but also used a white noise app on our phone. Again, if you want to be in the midst of the action, this is a great location. The building that the apartment was located in could use some attention. The entrance gate was difficult to open and made us a little nervous each time we returned. The building also had an unpleasant smell that did not dissipate throughout our three night stay - I believe it was originating from the garbage area in the entrance.

This apartment was a lovely reprieve from the tens of thousands of tourists constantly wandering the street below. It was always easy to navigate back to the Trevi fountain no matter where one wandered.

Fabulous sze and location
Great sized apartment in the centre of Rome. Quiet and pretty well appointed. Few little issues with appliances not working e.g. kettle. Power failure locking us in on morning of departure was deftly solved by a passer-by with a pen! Lucky! Otherwise a wonderful spot, highly recommend.

Amazing Summer Stay!
Loved coming back after exploring so many nearby places and restaurants to a spacious home with amazing A/C for Rome in August. We visited a number of the recommended restaurants and all were authentic and worthwhile.

Great location but noisy
The location is great but bring earplugs. The front bedroom is extremely noisy. If you are a night person it's great but the noise lasted till way into the night. PS - One thing it needs is a toaster!!

Great location & beautiful apartment!
We joked that other tourists must be jealous when they saw us walk in or out of this rental because the location was amazing! We could easily start or end each day with views of the Trevi fountain since it was just steps away. Great restaurants and coffee nearby! Great communication beforehand and day of check in. The apartment is very spacious and was perfect for our family of four with adult children. Living room windows opened up to look down to watch and hear the street performers singing opera! Only negative is the living room and master bedroom are VERY loud in the early morning from trash collection. Would definitely book again, though!

Terrific Trevi location
The apartment was clean and secure. It was in a central location within walking distance to many of the major sites if you are inclined to walk. There was also a cab stand a block away for longer trips. The property manager Mr Fabrizio helped with all of my questions. There were comments about the noise from the street but when I closed the windows in the street side bedroom it was quiet enough to sleep, and I was there when AS Roma won some big game. People were absolutely bonkers. Slept like a rock. My only suggestion would be a more detailed explanation on how to use the clothes washing machine, I had to Google the user manual. Great stay, and only 30 seconds to one of the greatest pieces of art in the world, the Trevi Fountain. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful Apartment 1 Block from Trevi Fountain
Beautiful apartment right in the middle of unlimited shops, restaurants, sight seeing. Only a block from the Trevi fountain. Well equipped including espresso machine. The master bedroom and bathroom are very nice. This is the only room that it is noisy in since all the constant fun and excitement outside. Simply use some white noise app on your mobile phone at night.

Dear Jacques thank you for your staying Two bed-rooms are internal and there is absolutly no noise because it are on internal patio The third bed-room has two windows on via del Lavatore that is a street where can enter only residence cars; and it is a street where don't pass bus and only few cars at the same time we have windows new with double glasses I lived in this house for 10 years and was a fantastic period of my life Best Dorotea

My family and I really enjoy our stay at this perfect location apartment. It had everything we needed. Access to all the tourist spots and also right outside the door are all the restaurants, coffee shops and retail stores one could need. The manager also arranged a driver for us which was a big plus! Highly recommend this apartment for a great trip to Rome.

A home away from home in Rome
This property was an excellent place to stay when visiting historic Rome. 100m from Trevi Fountain and walking distance to all of the major sites. A taxi stand 200m away if needed. Property owner recommended Chiara Monteleone from Born and Bred in Rome tours and she was excellent as well. Thank you Dorotea for making our first trip to Rome such a memorable event.

3 Days in Rome
Overall our stay in this apartment was very good as it was spacious for our family of 4, clean and felt safe and was in a great location. It was less than a 1 minute walk stepping out of the apartment building, and going left -- the Trevi Fountain is right there. However in the spirit of providing all of the information, I do have a few comments: The apartement is listed as a 3 bedroom and this was very appealing to us as we wanted to be able to use and sleep in the 3rd bedroom. Dorotea had sent me a list of questions, one being how many beds would need to have made, and I had replied that I wanted all of them to be ready. When we arrived however, we noticed that only the beds in 2 of the bedrooms were made and the bed (Murphy wall bed) in the 3rd bedroom was not unfortunately as it would have been much more quiet for us to sleep in since it was facing the back of the building. The master bedroom that my husband and I stayed in was extremely noisy due to the lively and busy street below us (despite the attempt to install double sided glass windows in the room). We did not sleep well at all since we could clearly hear the crowded street just outside the windows up until around midnight, then on Monday and Tuesday morning the trash is picked up from the streets around 6AM -- and wow was that loud -- the truck went to every single building up and down the street which took long enough for us to fully wake up. Our, kids however, slept on the quiet side of the apartment and did get more sleep than we did. Another issue was that there were no sharp knives to cut fruit, vegetables or cheese in the kitchen. One night we decided to "eat in" and bought food at the little markets -- only to discover we would have to use super dull knives to cut anything we had. Also, when taking a shower or a bath, we noticed there were no wash cloths to use. Only hand towel and regular bath towel size are provided. Finally, we were happy to see that there was a clothes washing machine indicated on the listing; I suppose I assumed there would be a dryer, but that is not the case. After doing a full load of laundry I discovered there was not a dryer. Dorotea suggested that they hang there clothes outside on the balcony to dry in the sun, but we had too many articles of clothing that I did not want to fade from the sun so I laid them out throughout the apartment which took all of 2 full days to dry.

Fabulous location!
Location is amazing. In the early morning before the crowds arrive you can actually hear the Trevi Fountain. Agree with other reviewers that it is a little loud in the master bedroom. As long as you keep the windows shut and shut the bathroom door it is not bad. We enjoyed watching the crowds out the window. Very clean with everything we needed. Only issue we had was poor WiFi signal. Would definitely stay here again though! I miss Roma already.

Great location on lively street
The apartment was a great location for our first visit to Rome. The street is busy but the bedrooms are all very quiet (no street noise). It is up two flights of stairs but they weren't steep and there is a small elevator if you need it (though you have to walk down 1/2 flight of stairs from elevator). The Trevi Fountain was 1 minute away. Via Lavatore has many restaurants and gelaterias. Spanish steps less than 10 minute walk away; Colosseum about 15-20 minutes.

In the middle of all the action
Our family of 5 stayed three nights. I thought staying so close to the Trevi Fountain would offer a little romance to the Rome portion of our trip, but the extreme crowds (day and night) actually made the location more of a negative than a positive. The property itself is spacious, but the furnishings in the living area are a bit tired. Also it is important to note you have to pay cash for the cost of the air conditioning you use when you leave the property, but without running it in the evenings, I would not have been able to sleep due to the street noise right outside of the apartment. The extra few euros was many well spent! The apartment was pretty dark, too. There were limited working light fixtures, and several burned out light bulbs, all of which contributed to the issue. We actually brought a bedside lamp to the table in the living area so we could look at our guide books and maps to plan our days. Although the location didn’t work for us like we thought it would, it did put you in the center of all the action, so if that is what you are looking for, this is the place for you!

Excellent accommodation for family!
Parents plus three young adult children stayed here very comfortably. Apartment is beautiful and location is ideal as we were able to walk to every sight. AC was working well and needed as it was very hot. Owner is responsive, and check in process easy. Three full baths. Comfortable beds. Used kitchen for breakfasts which was handy. Although apartment is on a busy street with annoying street vendors, bedrooms were quite. We were very happy to return to this comfortable, cool place after long days of sight seeing. Would stay here again.

Perfect Location
This flat couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Trevi Fountain is about one block away which was perfect for noise reasons. The front bedroom will require earplugs for when the early morning trash picks up and crushes wine bottles. Only other suggestions would be to pack kitchen towels as one doesn’t cut it. Also, if your a coffee drinker, plan on bringing instant coffee unless you’re skilled making coffee the Italian way. There is no Mr. Coffee machine. The bathrooms do not have small trash cans for female products, which was a hassle. Luckily they provides extra trash bags in the kitchen which helped. The front door is also a little tricky to unlock, but don’t give up as you learn to engage, Pull door towards you, then push door forward to open. All in all, I highly recommend this flat.

In the Heart of Rome
We couldn't have asked for a better location to explore the heart of Rome! It was walking distance to all of the sites. The COOP grocery store was two blocks away and the gelato and bakery stores at our door step were delicious. The house was very comfortable for our party of 5 adults and we had just enough kitchen pans, etc to make meals (some better knives would have been appreciated) and the beds were comfortable. A trip highlight was engaging Chef Flavia for a Roman cooking lesson in her home!! We learned a lot about Roman cooking, had fun, and enjoyed our delicious meal while getting to know her and what its like to live in Rome. Her home is near the Borghese gardens and we happily walked home to work off the large meal.... I highly recommend this experience that Dorotea can arrange! The lift to and from the airport by Tullio was also a great option Dorotea provided. He was punctual and easily wove his way through Rome traffic. As for some inconveniences, do know that the master bedroom borders the VERY busy street that never seems to quiet at any time. Closing the windows dampens the sounds. So this room is not for the light sleeper. If we had known what the extra cost would be to run the Air Conditioner per night (there is an meter by the front door), we would have used that option just to try and cancel out the sound. The other two rooms were amazingly quiet. With that said, I would gladly rent this home again because the location just is terrific. Thanks Dorotea for a great Rome experience.
