Nice central hotel
Hotel Camelia is a clean old hotel with good qualities. It is right next to Termini and close to main attractions and shopping areas. The staff was very nice. I and my girlfriend enjoyed our stay there. Nevertheless, the refrigerator was out of order and there was no hot water in the shower. The breakfast was good.

Hotellet ligger veldig bra til. Det er nærme sentrum, men lite støy fra gatene. 5min gange fra stasjonen. Servicen var veldig bra. Grei frokost. Renslig, med daglig rengjøring av rom. Perfekt for en langweekend :)

Very nice hotel - good value for money
The hotel is located close to Termini station (but not too close) and metro stations, which makes it a good base for a stay in Rome. Most things are within walking distance, although it takes perhaps 20 minutes to walk to the Trevi fountain. However, in Rome you will always have to walk a lot. The rooms are spacious (for a roman hotel) and clean. Air con is working and is silent. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood, with some decent restaurants around. The breakfast is good and with quite a lot to choose from. There is also a supermarket (Conan) and a very nice Italian coffee bar (Rio Bar), serving excellent coffee and pastries nearby. All in all we had a lovely romantic stay at Camelia hotel (and in Rome in general).

Helt OK for en overnatting
Overnattet en natt før hjemreise tilbake til Norge. Hotellet er helt greit, rent nok og stort nok. Men jeg ville ikke valgt det for flere enn to netter hvis det ikke var et godt tilbud. Det fins bedre hoteller med samme stjernerangering. Men alt i alt et helt greit hotel, og jeg har ikke noe spesielt å sette fingeren på :-)

Flott beliggenhet og svært hyggelig personal. Rent og pent. Litt små rom måtte være det eneste minuset. Anbefales!

Very Average - Nothing Special
Stay was average, nothing special. A little surprised at how high the reviews were. The good- it was affordable and quiet. Room definitely needed updating. Floor molding near bathroom was coming off, the bathroom is supplied with cheap shampoo and very cheap toilet paper squares (we actually went to store to buy toilet paper). Bed was uncomfortable. TV only worked 1/2 off the time. Staff was not very responsive about it. Also found it concerning that I had to ask to get deposit credited back…I felt like if I didn’t ask about it they would have just kept it. We’ve stayed at many hotels in Rome in the last year and this was the only hotel that requested that taxes be paid cash instead of on a card. Housekeeping knock on our door in the morning even though we had do not disturb sign on handle.

Dear guest,We are sorry to read your review. All of our rooms were completely renovated during Covid and our maintenace staff fixes all the issues daily. Our bathroom supplies are good quality hotel brand supplies. All of our beds are egonomic and good for the back, if you are not used to this kind of mattress, it is unfair to write that the bed is not comfortable. When our guests report a non working tv, we either repair it or replace it. When we have many check outs all together, we need to go fast, so sometimes we do not mention the deposit. It is not a problem because the amount goes automatically back to the card after the pre-authorisation expires. Our policy is that after 3 days of "do not disturb", we need to clean the room. You were informed by phone.Best regards

The Hotel is close to the subway, bus stops (including a main bus terminal), restaurants & cafes, and a laundry service. The staff (especially at the front desk) were helpful, professional, and courteous.

Like the VIP rooms on the 4th floor. Alexandro at the reception is friendly and helpful. Could you encourage everyone to consult with him about anything you need while you stay in Rome? The elevator needs some upgrade, but as it is on 4 stories hotel no an issue.

The staff is very friendly, the property is clean. Breakfast is overpriced. Our room had no windows, just two skylights. Not sure if I missed that in the listing or if the room we were given didn't look like the ones in the listing?

The hotel staff were very helpful and informative. The hotel is conveniently located to central train station. Plenty of restaurants Near by (vincenzos was a favorite). Clean Hotel the beds were very comfortable ( I like a firmer mattress and it was perfect.) The main attractions are a short bus rid away or taxi if you prefer. Taxi from fiumicino to hotel was 50 Euro.

Excellent hotel
Excellent. Sorry to be picky but it would have been nice to have an extra quilt in the room. There were two extra pillows but 4 people so not enough. The TV remote was broken and taped back together so that did not work. The lift is very slow. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location is good. I would stay here again.
