A clean and comfortable hotel near the Vatican
We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the Vatican. Only 15-20 minutes walk.The choice was very good. We checked in late in the evening and met a very friendly, helpful and accomodating young lady.We were so impressed at the cleanliness of the room. The sheets are replaced every day, always clean towels, slippers provided free upon request,water heater and an array of tea and coffee to choose from in the room and bottled water always available.The young filipina girl who used to clean our room has done her work well.Spotless! She deserve a raise :-) Breakfast was also very good. Fine service there too. Check out was as good as when we came in. They helped us get a taxi to the airport as well. Although not so important for us, will just mention here that the elevator is quiet small and there`s that extra small "shaking" before the door opens when you`ve reach your floor. But there`s always the stairs if you dont have a lot of heavy luggages with you. We are very pleased with the hotel and will highly recommend this to fellow travellers who wish to visit the Vatican and nearby. If by chance we will visit Rome again, we will definitely stay here again :-)

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great, especially Ricardo and Ettore (I hope I spelled that right? He works at the front desk) everyone was very friendly, the continental breakfast was expansive and included a lot of food for 15 euros each and we actually found that we preferred the restaurant food at the hotel far more than many of the restaurants we tried in the city and it's much less expensive. The only problem we had was the king bed. It was extremely worn and I ended up having to use our air mattress for my husband because after one night, he couldn't walk and my back was in a lot of pain as well. Definitely need to upgrade the mattress but overall our stay with a family of 4 in the loft room was exceptional. The hotel was clean, the bathroom had great water pressure, it was a 2 minute walk to the Vatican entrance, lots of shopping, food and gelato nearby.

This hotel is great for what it is, particularly the value and location. To be honest it did not feel really like a 4 star hotel, the room was basic and bathroom despite recently being updated felt really uncomfortable. The shower needs a lip or something to keep the water from spilling out and you truly cannot have enough towels. TV was not connected to internet so you could not use the smart TV functions. In summary it was a good experience but there are some small quality of life changes needed to bring it to great.

Super close to the Vatican. On the corner of the same street you can find a Mexican Restaurant like a Chipotle’s style. Cremeria Candia is the best gelato in the area just 8 minutes or less from the hotel. Breakfast is great. Dinner is good and great peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed the Terrace on the 2nd floor a lot since we had in this hotel 2 days to rest before coming home after a 21 day vacation in Europe.

The front desk agents, Etore and Chandra were exceptional (I hope to have spelled their names correctly) They were helpful and made you feel always welcome. It’s walking distance to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica. They called taxis for us and were able to get transportation to the airport on our departure date. Adequate number of restaurants and shops are nearby. The rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room was refreshed everyday. A coffee maker, kettle, small fridge, small safe and hair dryer are provided and we used them with no problems. The bathroom floors are heated and that was very nice. We ate breakfast at the hotel a few times and always had a good experience. Food variety was good. It’s not close to the city center but we knew that. There are plenty of sitting areas inside and outside the hotel. The elevator is small but we didn’t have any issues. The hotel provides luggage storage if the room is not available at check-in. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt comfortable walking outside in the evenings.

We enjoyed our stay! The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, it was convenient to a metro stop and the attractions of the area, there were lots of dining options very close, and it had a very nice terrace for relaxing. We would return!

Staff were excellent ,friendly and spoke English well which helped with translation. They went out of their way to accommodate us which added to our pleasant stay. The dining room has a nice breakfast in the morning which is convenient and also offer dining options and a bar area at night. The elevator was very small and rocked a-bit which was alittle scary. The rooms are small but modern and clean. There is a small refrigerator and hot water pot. Bottles of water are given daily. There is a room safe also.The location is very convenient to the Vatican a short walk. The hop on off buses are a far walk on the other side of river if planning on using them.

Staffs were friendly, accommodated for early check in. Room was small, well utilized for 1 Queen and 2 twin beds but no sofa to sit beside 1 chair. Close to metro( need to be little careful if coming late from the metro due to surroundings)

I liked the place, the design and cleanliness inside. However sometimes there was trash right outside the building that did not completely fit inside the bins. The neighborhood is very lively with many restaurants. Closeness to Vatican gives it a certain unique character.

It is very close to the Vatican Museums. The staff is wonderful, early check ins are no problem. Can't recommend this property enough.
