«We absolutely loved the location of this Beachfront Bungalow! Our early morning walks on the beach were just lovely, and our evenings were filled with the sound of the ocean waves! This place had everything we needed to make our stay most comfortable. It was very clean, and the host was excellent at replying to our messages.»

«This property sits back in a grove of trees and flowering plants but within 5 minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy breakfast or a late afternoon cocktail at the outdoor table shaded by said grove. Simply but satisfactorily appointed, the accommodations are great for a weekend getaway or a week at the beach. Newburyport and it’s many attractions and restaurants is a short 10 minute drive back from this property»

«Loved the home - it felt like being home at the end of a long day shopping and doing many things in town. Clean! Just wish the towels were ready and set in the bathrooms and instructions left on what to do with used towels and if the garbage should have been taken out. Basement was stinky. Other than that, wonderful place and setup - sooooo close to town and convenient!»

«Chestnut Sweet exceeded our expectations. Couldn’t have asked for a better location for exploring the nearby towns, such as Salem, Ipswich, Gloucester, and even the big city of Boston. At the end of the day, it was always so nice to come back to such a relaxing and welcoming vacation home. Francie and Bob are such lovely people. I would not hesitate to stay there again.»

«The location and house were 5 star! But there could be some changes to make it cozier. I suggest adding bath soap and shampoo and tissues in the bathrooms. The decor was minimal and the bed and pillows in the front bedroom were lumpy and uncomfortable. Nicer sheets would be welcome.»

«The kitchen: There were no sponges and no dish towels, which made it somewhat difficult to clean our own dishes or bigger pots and pans. There was also only one roll of paper towels provided for our 3 day stay, which wasn’t enough as there were no kitchen towels. There was no broom or vacuum to clean up either. There was a major lack of kitchen utensils. Living Room: The TV was hard to use and there was no manual or explanation on how to use it. The back door dead bolt would not lock. ...
