«The Hideaway is a quaint cottage with outstanding cleanliness and amenities. The added touch of snacks waiting for us was so appreciated and welcomed. I also appreciated the flyers of local activities. Communication was excellent and very prompt…an added touch of hospitality. Neighbors were friendly and well accommodating while we were unloading. And York is a lovely city.»

«We booked for a base as an Easter getaway with walks from the doorstep. It was Perfect, the property has allocated packing right outside the front door, it was clean, everything we needed was there! A lovely garden area to sit and relax in the sunshine with a glass of wine after a long walk in the dales! The property was in a quiet courtyard/lane just a few steps away from the main Grassington Square! Would definitely return.»

«Lovely, well thought out barn conversion So cosy and comfortable, yet with plenty of space for everyone. Immaculately clean and with all you woukd ever use in the kitchen. Two lovely ensuite doyble bedrooms. The garden was secure so my little dog coukd not wander off. Great central location. We visited Scarborough, Robin Hood Bay, Kiplin Hall and James Herriot World. Pub down the road serves lovely food. Also, the owner Grayham met us to show us to the property and kindly made our garden sevure ...

«This cottage is represented well by the photographs on the website. It had everything we needed for our stay. We are two adults and two children (15, 12) and there was adequate room for us all. There were no issues with parking directly outside the property, we managed to get a space everytime. Helmsley is a lovely place, everyone was very friendly. This cottage was an excellent base for exploring the nearby area.»

«My elderly father and I had a wonderful few days here. Everything was so easy being in the village, we never cooked as there are lots of options for eating out or takeaway. Local dog walks were super and the enclosed courtyard meant we were never worried about the dog. Hosts were easy to contact and replied quickly to questions. Would happily recommend this lovely cottage and delightful village.»

«The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.»
