«We loved our stay at this property and wouln't hesitate to book it again the next time we visit. The property is located within walking distance of all of Kenmare's activities, restaurants, and shops. The kitchen is well-appointed and the bedrooms and bathrooms extremely comfortable. It truly felt like we were visiting our artistic aunt's house with beautiful art and attention to design in every room.»

«We had a wonderful stay at Fia Lodge. Located in a beautiful, peaceful setting with stunning views of MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and a great base for day trips exploring Kerry. The Lodge was beautifully presented, very comfortable, clean and modern, with bifold doors and great outdoor space. «The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . «We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. It was a lovely house with plenty of room to spread out, watch Banshees of Inisherin, and eat take away from Dooley's in our PJs. «The location is beautiful and feels set apart despite being so close to services and the incredible drives and towns on the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. Everything would be 5 stars except there was a little musty smell, likely coming from the carpets and perhaps older furnishings in LR. It was wonderful to have 2 lovely bathrooms, a very comfortable king bed, laundry, and a sparkling kitchen. «Simon was easy to communicate with and the property was clean. It’s a lake property so there were many spiders throughout the property. No big deal for us though. The road getting to the property was mostly a one lane road. It was a little nerve wracking during the evening hours. Great week visiting Ireland!»

«The property is outstanding and we could have sat on the couches and stared out the window, all week. You can see cliffs, a beach and a beautiful view to hills on the other side of the bay. We had a couple of days of poor weather and simply stayed in and enjoyed the property. We had a few mechanical issues but most of them were our own ignorance of how the appliances worked. «The beds are comfortable and the towels are soft. The house overall was immaculate and well stocked. Ann even provided fresh fruit, full size toiletries, home baked brown bread and a cooler for our day trip. She is the perfect hostess -- responsive, generous and very sweet. And all within a couple minutes of the Kenmare town center which might be the cutest place in all of Ireland. Could not have asked for a better accommodation.»
