«I booked one nights stay as my daughter and I were at Badminton Horse Trials. I had not researched the location before going so was amazed to enter the beautiful village of Lacock. The whole place is unique and the property is so beautiful. We were met by our hosts Rufus and his wife and they could not have been more welcoming. «Property was clean, the hosts were welcoming, friendly and thoughtful. It was exactly as advertised, quiet and conveniently located for the places and facilities we wanted to visit. Local pub was just a short walk and served good food. The property was easy to find given the scafolding currently around the main house, but may be more tricky to locate when this is removed. «Really sweet accommodation! We stayed here after a full day out at Longleat safari park with the kids which was just 20mins away & very easy to get to. Kids were very excited to be overlooking the field with the wonderful big window which allowed us to see lots of deers running & playing in the morning, pheasants, and the nearby farms cows.
