«We stayed in 6 different VRBO rentals all over Ireland this past month. Of them all, this was the best of all. It was very clean, had an attentive host (managing the lovely restaraunt in front), it was quiet and secluded, the grounds were beautiful...and best of all, the Multifarnham area was astounding. I took a short walk and found the Abbey in town that included a botanical garden with cafe (and tea houses scattered around the grounds), and an amazing park and walking paths around the Abbey. ...

«We loved the property. It was extremely attractive. everything had been renovated. The Botanical garden at the Friarly was absolutely outstanding. We enjoyed Weirs pub. There is lots to do in the area.»

«Unfortunately it took a while to understand how the heat for the showers worked. Also towels were only replaced once during the week and we had to wash our own towels at the laundry facilities. »

«Ireland and this house exceeded our expectations. Four women ages 50-70. Everyone left completely satisfied. Host was helpful and kind. It’s in a remote area but we knew that before we went. A 2 minute drive into the town of Banagher and a 40 minute walk.»

«We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million.»

«The Grooms Cottage was a rustic wonderful stay. It is in the country but really not far from shops. Having only 1 bathroom was a little difficult in the morning with 5 adults but they are working on an upstairs one, it just wasn't ready for our stay. I definitely would come back to the Grooms Cottage!»

«The hosts are amazing!! The house was wonderful and the property was everything as described. Lovely time on the lake kayaking. We were very well taken care of and Nicola and David were the loveliest hosts we’ve ever had. Highly recommend renting this lovely home if you just want to relax and enjoy the Irish countryside. Lots of laketime activities and hiking. Plan on going back for sure! If you contact Nicola directly she will give you a discount.»
