«We had an amazing stay here. The staff was exceptional and went far to help us out with everything. The room was large and clean and had an amazing view of the ocean. Hotel arranged a turtle snorkeling with a local guide that was a really good experience. The breakfast was good and we also had lunch at the hotel two days. We even got a christmas gift from the hotel staff on christmas day. One of the best and nicest places we have stayed in Sri Lanka, much thanks to the lovely staff and the ...

«Nice place but not worth the money. The 3 bedroom suite is below the rooftop to which the other guests have access, so they walk through your outdoor area to get up there. You do not get the whole villa, there are two bedrooms that are rented out as well as the suite. The staff are however very friendly and the breakfast was great, and location also very good, right on the beach. The villa needs a fresh coat of paint but is very beautiful, feels Moroccan! If the price was lower I would recommend ...

«The stay here was great. Host very gracious. There are two separate bedrooms with double beds, a kitchen with a gas burner, refrigerator, dishes and pans, small dining room, patio with a day bed, washing machine. Bedrooms have a/c. Other rooms with ceiling fans. WiFi worked well. Host provided laundry detergent, shampoo, sun screen and mosquito repellent. He also provided us with some great meals. This is not high end, but my brother and I loved it. Would recommend to anyone wanting nice, ...

«The villa is so big and clean, really surprise. It is so suitable for 8 friends together. The host is so nice and friendly,we arrived at villa at 10pm,so late, but he still waited for us.Another surprise is it has hot water to have a bath,it is so scarce in Sri Lanka. The one and only regret is,you know,in Sri Lanka ,there are many ants and other insects. And in our bathroom, there were many ants, but don't care about it ,they will leave and it didn't influence your trip. So, enjoy the villa, and enjoy ...

13. Beach House

Thalaramba

«This house is virtually a step away from the sea and it feels like you have your very own small, private beach. A bit far from the town for bars and restaurants but a good small local restaurant two minutes walk away. Breakfast provided, by a woman that comes to the house and uses the kitchen. Great in one sense but if you really like your privacy note that she does hang around each day for about 3 hours doing cleaning etc.. Overall if you like privacy and seclusion right on the beach, this ...

"Right on the beach.. And nice pool.."

Ocean Bliss by Sugar Coliving

10/10 Utmerket

"I traveled alone, but from the very first moment I arrived at Ocean Bliss, I never felt alone. I was welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness that my stay became something truly unforgettable! Anjana was absolutely incredible. She made sure I could always reach her, no matter what, and she helped me with everything—from big questions to the smallest details—always with a smile and a caring heart. She became more than just staff to me; she became my friend, and I already miss her dearly. She arranged a surf class for me which was great, and also a private cooking class. Yes, the hotel itself is beautiful, and the view from the rooftop terrace is simply spectacular. But what truly made this place special was the people. The hospitality and kindness shown by Anjana, Chamod, and Pulidu touched me deeply and made my stay extraordinary. A very special thank you to these wonderful people—I will never forget you. Ocean Bliss will always have a place in my heart, and I hope to return one day 💙"
